I lost mine when I was 17 to an older woman (in her twenties) and if I was living in America, that would mean I am statutatorily raped but I am totally in debt to the woman who opened up my horizons. It's old I think by American Standards for a guy, but heck, I would love to have lost it when I was way younger and I don't think sex is bad for any age as long as you're ready for it and you know the consequences (like pregnancy, stds, feelings, etc).
If you're ready, you're ready. Age is irrelevant. There is nothing wrong with sex and I think people put too much into 'virginity' like it's a magic word or something.
