Ahh, I've noticed that so much : / The double standards disgust me. I'm also a bit bothered by the whole "promise ring" some Christian girls keep with their fathers that vow that they won't have sex before marriage. Sometimes they have whole ceremonies that are just about the girls promising their father that they won't have sex. It's so creepy to me! Why is it just between father-daughter? If anything, I would think that would be a more mother-daughter connection.
