Was that a reply to me? o.o If so, I live in Sweden but I am from Denmark. So yes, I am Scandinavian ^__^
I didn't find swedish hard at all, but as you say, it's harder for those who aren't Scandinavian. All 3 scandinavian languages are
basically the same, but some words are miles apart, so it's all just about different pronounciation of the words that you are already familiar with, and then learning those new words. Only took me 2-3 months to speak and write fluent swedish.
Then again, I'm a prodigy when it comes to languages o.o
