vanitydoll aha, like my friend was saying, many filipina girls don't actually look filipina. when a guy is filipino, he looks it mostly. XD my mom actually gets mistaken for korean and chinese a lot, just as i assume the rest of her side of the family does. they are all pale-skinned, and several of them [ like mom ] have that wavy korean hair thing going on. o___O but apparently one of my great-grandparents or something on that side was chinese, so i guess those genes may be more recent than for other people.

i think the reason that most people don't think i'm filipino is because of my skin color. @___@ my sister, for some reason, is naturally very dark. neither my father or mother are this way... just my grandmother on my dad's side. xD but my dad, being half white, is naturally paper white but can tan to be EXTREMELY dark. like a hispanic person that has tanned all summer. o____O
