I know it sounds reasonable when people say that "Age doesn't matter, it just matters whether or not you're ready for sex." But age does matter. It affects how you think and act, your emotions, and all that other stuff that makes is teenagers so difficult to deal with.

I'm 17 and I've never had sex and I don't plan on it until I'm older 9not necessarily till married... but older). I don't feel ready, or actually, even interested in sex right now. With so many other things going on in my teenaged life, I don't even have time to keep up with a relationship, let alone the responsibility of sex. =P

I just don't like the fact that society made it so that so many people think there's something wrong with them if they've never had sex. I go to a Magnet school, which is supposed to be for really smart people. But thruthfully, most of the kids just want to have sex and party and be cool. They feel that if they don't get laid by a certain age, it makes them feel like a loser. Does that sound that fun??!!

I personally know someone who was 13 when she started dating an older guy... about 17. He got to know her family and friends and got her to really trust him. He ended up getting her virginity and got her pregnant! Later, after he stuck through for the abortion, he cheated on her with his ex girlfriend.

So no, I don't think dating an older guy is a good idea. Most Teenage guys just want to have sex and they're not afraid of hurting you in the process. why give them the satisfaction?
