That was our initial thought as well. Too dark. That's why we turned it into pink.
But xbishielurv have a point as well. I actually liked that color too, but i think i may prefer the pink slightly (and yes, even though I am a guy). The purple was more professional cause that was the original design (we hacked the color a bit to change it to this pink you see now thanks to our own internal designer!!)
