How to wear this BIG BIG muffler?

So my boyfriend bought a really big muffler but he doesn't wear it because it's so big and it doesn't suit his coat.
He said I could wear it. It's actually a pretty muffler.
The only problem is.. I don't know how to wear it.
Cause when I wear it the way I always do, it looks so weird o_O
I like it how this girl wears her muffler:

But I can't see that clear how she 'fold' her muffler.
Can anyone tell me?

The muffler doesn't suit his coat.
BUT it doesn't suit mine either.
As you can see the girl in the pic doesn't wear a thick coat with the muffler either.
But it seems so cold with that thin vest.
Does anyone wear these vest outside in the winter?
How do you keep yourself warm?

lol i just wear them with anything.

but i think the girl in the picture has just looped it round her neck ? it doesn 't really look like she's tied it or anything, more just holding it together with her hands..

Just wrap it around your neck until it's the right length, and then spread the layers out a bit so it's comfy. That's how I wear mine anyway, and it means it bunches up less than if you were to tie it.

agree with phren - it doesn't look like she's folding it any kind of special way

it looks like she has a few layers on but if the weather calls for a giant muffler and earmuffs, i'd prob still freeze in what she's wearing xD

you can wrap it around the way you want.. and be comfortable.

I actually have a light brown scarf and it's way WAY long/big for me ( but I love it because it's soft and warm! ) If yours is a neutral color like white or black, it usually goes with a lot of things. Just wrap it around a few times and let it hang a little - that's what I do with mine!

If I was to not wrap mine around it would drag on the ground and I would probably trip on it xD But I like to have some length to it...-Shrugs- But that's just me. Ok this one isn't SUPER long like mine but this would be the general idea. You could also sling one part of the scarf behind you for a different look. Whatever you prefer
