how to get 80s backcomb hairstyle?
i'm in love with Johanna Katt's hairstyle... it's so 80s and very grunge. i've tried backcombing my hair but it turned out disasterouss! no where as nice as hers.. does anyone know how to get their hair looking like *below* and would it damage my hair?
...o my god she is so gorgeous...

i think her hair is like that because it's damaged/dry from all that dyeing. when your hair is dry, it's easier to style it and make it stay put. if your hair is too soft, after awhile it gets back into the original shape. i guess that's when hairspray comes to good use!

OMG, there's a nipple showing!! did anyone notice or is it just me cause i am a guy??
But she's PRETTY!
I don't know about the hairstyle though.... I have to agree with choccino, I think the hair is just spoiled and dried beyond repair. You're better off not having hair like that.
But it does look very, very cute in the 3rd photo. Would make a beautiful wife for Edward Scissorhands. Ha Ha.
The second photo looks scary, kinda like a girl in a horror movie... maybe a puppet came to live and about to kill someone!

from experience, you need hairspray if your hair isn't already coarse

I think she´s so pretty and so many styles fit her because she has this doll face like Gemma Ward!

yeah, that was what I was about to suggest. That's how I get my hair all messy.

Yeah my hair never stays back combed, no matter how much hairspray I use.

hmm. i did that to my friends's hair once. well, simmilar. spray LOTS of hairspary and tease it up.if you have thick hair, clip the top layer of your hair up and do the bottem layer of your hair first. it will prob damage your hair a bit but the 80's is known for it's MASSIVE hairspray usage. if hairspray isn't working try using some styling wax
