shoe sizes?

Sorry this might be such a stupid question, but now I'm very confused..

My shoe size is european 41 ( big, i knoww... ;___; )
my converse shoes are US 8, I guess that's men sizes...

So. What is my women size? And I tried to search by google, and I just found that european 41 is US men 8 and US women 8 and that sounds kinda stupid..

And I've also heard that converse shoes have different sizes than some other shoes...?

So please help me find out my real shoe sizes... ^^;;

I'm pretty sure Converse are men sizes so your woman size would be 2 sizes larger.

So if your Converse are a size 8 then you're a size 10.

EDIT: I checked an old pair of Converse of mine and it says:
Men-7
Wo's-9
Eur-40
CM-25.5

I think you can also measure your shoe size by the length of yor foot. My feet are nine inches each, and therefore I'm a size 9.

And Converse do have a different sizing system than other shoes. I'm a size 6 in Converse. So I just add three to make it my real shoe size.

Did that make sense?

Is that how Canada sizes work? Cuz my feet are about 9 inches and I'm a size 7(women's) in the U.S.

It could also depend on the brand. Some brands measure their shoes differently and such.

Shoe sizes are way too confusing.

I wear a 9 1/2 in US Women's, and a six or 7 in US Men's. In European I wear a 40. So, if you wear a 41, then you wear a size 10 in US Women's.
