Default Volume??

**OOps, i put this is the wrong forum T^T do you think it can be moved to the Beauty& Grooming Topics?? SO SORRY !!

Hm..not too sure how to start this off ^^;; I use lots of hair products to get my hair to be volumized, and get that "bed-head" look~
But using so much products in my hair, i feel make it kinda sticky-like.

Does anyone know a good product for creating/styling the volumized hair look??

--I currently use a combonation of volume mousse [ sometimes] , style wax, and gel lotion because my hair is stubborn >< Sometimes i will backcomb/tease my hair ...but i use a spritz kind of hairspray?? [ i dont know how to explain it..] ...is it better to use those in the aerosole cans??

I have really flat hair, and this is how i deal with it.

1. Use Volumizing shampoo and condition
2. Bow dry hair up-side down
3. Tie hair in a high pony tail before bedtime
4. Wake up to fluffy poofy hair!

Yup, I could use some good tips too. My hair is really thick, but it's also really flat. It's hard to maintain full volume looks since my hair is so "heavy" I suppose.

Great tips, katzluva.

I've also been told that it helps to just apply conditioner to the roots of your hair when you wash. Applying it to the scalp actually weighs the hair down a little, making it harder to achieve voluminous gravity-defying looks.

I should follow some of these tips!
My hair is all short and such and I don't like the flat look all too much so I usually use my curling iron at the roots to give it a little curve at the top and it sort of makes it poof out... it's kind of like the pony tail concept but makes it a little poofy-er but... it can do some damage to your hair...

Look for volumizing shampoo and conditioner... 8D!

Flat hair always seem to look good in asian celebrities but...
it frames my face horribly (AKA fat) and I have this small "bald spot" which is really just a lack of growth from so less hair. It's difficult to style your hair in any other way also. It's probably because we're just tired of our hair and need a change

Thanks Katzluva! Those are good tips!!
I think I will have to get the volumizing shampoo and conditioner...i been using the kind that protects your hair dyed color instead! XD

The only thing, is that my hair is kind of short to tie in the high pony tail ><! i usually tie it middle height?? and i dont like to leave it in while i sleep because im get afraid of getting that "crease" in your hair from the scrunchie band~ ill try it out though! for the sake of more volumized hair!!

@Nyappy: I think i will try the curling iron too~ but im not sure if it will work, because my hair is so straight that the curled hair will only last an hour or so T^T~~

my hair is so stubborn, its not thick, and not thin.. = =;;
