Default Lipozene Diet Pills?

I just bought a pack of these Diet pill called Lipozene. I seen the commerial for it tons of times. And I never took diet pills before... but it says to only take it if you need to loose A LOT of weight which I do. ;(

I thought taking them will help me loose a bit of weight... then when I feel good enough to just excerise and eat better alone I'll stop taking them.

Cause sometimes you need a push before heavy excerising, right? My body isn't use to excerising so I thought I shouldn't get the Slim in 6 DVDs cause I don't want my fat to turn into muscle. @_@ So maybe taking these pills eating less, and excerising will get me down till I want to get some muscles?
I don't want HUGE muscles or anything. xD;

http://www.lipozene.com/

Do you guys think it looks "safe" or something?

I got the bottles at Walmart, two bottles in one box. Also I'm going to start taking weight loss multi-vitamins or should I just take the normal women's vitamins?

Well, being a health Nazi automatically puts me against taking diet pills. My mother has taken them and they do not work, in her experience anyway. I think you also misunderstood. Your fat will not create big muscles. Big muscles are created by heavy lifting and steroids. If you started to work out now, your body would not make IM SUPER MAN-MUSCLES, they would just create dainty women muscles because you are not doing heavy lifting.

The way that working out works is that you lose weight and tone your body. Toning is not making you really muscle-like. Toning is flattening your stomach, lifting your butt, making nice thighs and tightening your skin, because no one wants saggy skin after they lose weight. Go to a womens gym if you want to lose weight. Those gyms are specifically designed to help women lose weight and tone their body. But dont spend only 20 minutes on something, you have to spend atleast 40 minutes cardio and maybe 15 minutes on toning. Remember, you wont see results right away, but eventually you will. If I were you, I would return the pills and spend that money on a gym pass. If you dont feel comfortable in a gym yet because you think you are bigger than everyone, do some cardio at home until you slim down. Pills will not get you anywhere. Who ever invented diet pills are idiots. They are purely there for marketing.

Yes, listen to haruhisuzumiya, she knows what she's talking about!!

Don't worry about exercise giving you mega muscles. Yes, you may get some, but we're not talking Arnold Schwarzenneger here. If you're not used to exercise, then start off with fairly light activity, and work your way up to more strenuous activity. You could go for a walk, then incorporate some jogging into it. Or swimming is also good, you can start of with a few laps of the pool, then work your way up to more and more. You could try setting yourself a goal, like being able to jog a mile, then 2 miles etc

You'll need to combine your exercise with healthy eating too. There's no point in working out for an hour if you then eat a bag of chips and a big bowl of ice-cream and some cake afterwards. And if you want the weight to stay off, you'll need to change your eating habits. Don't skip meals. Keep yourself hydrated. Make sure you eat lots of fruit and veg. Don't deny yourself treats, or you'll be more likely to binge. Just try and keep a healthy balance with your food.

Anything that promises super quick results is most likely lying, or gonna be unhealthy for you in the long run. Most of these things are dreamed up by marketing gurus out to make as much money as possible. It won't happen overnight, but it will happen.

Oh yeah, and anyone who says stuff like "No pain, no gain" is a liar, you don't need to be in agony to lose weight and get healthy.

Oh yeah, if you want to stay fit forever, you have to exercise forever. Don't do it until you're happy, and then stop, because you will gain the weight back. ^^ If you want, you can keep an online log (livejournal, or a blog) to keep your progress, or a journal. I find that helps a lot. When I exercise, I keep a log.

Default Re: Lipozene Diet Pills?

I don't think you should take diet pills NO MATTER what brand . I used to take diet pills in the past and the pharmacist assured me there no side effects since they consist of herbs. I noticed that i DID lose weight at the beginning but then it stopped working. ( i was only 120 pounds btw i didnt need these pills) . Anyways ,after i stopped taking them i suffered fromn long term constipation, lack of sleep, weight gain - i gained 30 pounds!! I HAD to go to the hospital. The doctor said i will have a poor digestive system for the rest of my life and have to take pills and do other things in order for it to work normally. As for the pills i used , they were taken off the market because there were death cases and health issues involved. So , the advice i can give is be careful and eat a healthy lifestyle.

I would not take those pills. I've never heard a single good story about diet pills from anyone.

Diet pills are a billion dollar a year business, and yet, you do not hear about billions, millions, thousands, or even hundreds of success stories. they do not work even if they are accredited by some university you never heard of...

Do they work? maybe...maybe not, even the fine print says "results may vary" as in...it might work and it might not. Most pills are just packed with caffeine to get your heart pumping and making you move a bit more...

I found the best diet is to do it straight and simple:

mix of cardio/weights (always mix it up) 3-5 times a week with a 24hr rest period...cardio boosts immediate fat burning, weight lighting promotes muscle growth which burns fat even at rest (which is why athletes can eat huge meals because their muscles burns the fat even when they are resting/not doing anything) on rest days, just be a little more active than normal, walk fast to some places, maybe park far away from a store...

don't count calories, just look what you are eating. Proteins and fiber make you feel full longer and fruits/veges are low in salt/fat and high in vitamins/minerals/fiber/healthy carbs. Cut out all pointless carbs, sugars, and salts...even diet soda is bad. No fast food, no second servings of cake, easy on the fried foods, rice, things in cans usually are loaded with sodium.

you can have a cheat meal (not a cheat day) where you can eat practically anything you want, these are the best on the day of a workout so it's burned faster.

Also things to take into consideration:

sleep a healthy 7-8 hours a day.

drink plenty of water, not many can drink 8, but drink more...at least 4-6.

eat smaller meals, try not to eat before bed.

breakfast should be your biggest meal, you MUST have breakfast or else your body goes into "starvation mode" where it keeps your reserves of fat as a fail safe.
