Babies
This might sound weird but my sister (who's 6 weeks tomorrow) is staying with me. Everything is fine except she doesn't wind too well and ends up bringing her milk back up....does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to help her wind properly?
Thanks

I've seen mommies, after each feed, holding the baby with his head over their shoulder and patting it across the back, while doing a very very light shake (by bending their knees a bit). Makes'em burb, so they don't barf

I've heard that babies that young can't take processed whole milk yet and still need to be breast-fed still, maybe that is why?

Where did she say she's using processed milk? I presume she's using baby formula. That one is specially designed to be used by babies at any age (although breast milk is best, but sometimes you just can't get that)

i dnt think there really is nothing u can do except keep a bib on her and get the cloth at standby, as she grows older, her body will keep the milk/food down

Are you keeping her on the same feeding scedual? My sister just had a baby last year too. He would spit up his food if my sister changed his eating habits. Also, if this is the first time the baby is on formula, or away from breast milk, it may also happen. Other than that, ask your mom and see if it's normal or contact a physician or family doctor.

Ano, I've been babysitting my aunts foster child frequently, and she doesn it, too. My aunt said it's just what babies do, but I don't know, I'd like to find an answer, as well!
Edit - I found a link that explains it, here.

Hope it helps!
