How to find and link your unique referral URL

When you become an affiliate, you are identified by your unique referral URL. That way, we will know visitors and customers in AsiaJam come from you!

Once you have your unique referral URL, you can link it however way you like! Yes, we have ready-made banners and Text Links but you could always design your own 8) So if you're planning to use your own banners/text, you'll need to link it up with your unique referral URL.

Here, you will learn how to find your unique referral URL once you join us and how to link your own banners and text with it.

How to find your unique referral URL

1. Login to your Affiliatebot.com account

2. Click on 'Get Links'


3. Click on 'My Programs'


4. Click on 'View Links' below the AsiaJam logo


5. Choose any image banner/text advertisement from the list and click on 'Get Link'


6. A pop-up window will appear. Scroll down and you will see a Link Code. Your Unique Referral URL is the FIRST URL in the Link Code.




How to link your own banners/text with your unique referral URL
1) By now, you know your unique referral URL by following the above steps. Lets say, your unique referral URL is: http://www.affbot3.com/link-b641000fb640000e5e500e03030b5b465c015d580057191f5b 435f5c575b09445c57445f?plan=192

a) Linking an image:
2a) And, lets say your image banner is located at: http://www.photobucket.com/myimage.jpg
3a) Here's the HTML code to link your image to your unique referral URL:

You can copy and paste the HTML Code above. Then, simply replace the text in red with your own unique referral URL and image URL to start!

2b) And, lets say the text you want to link is : Check it out
3b) Here's the HTML code to link your text to your unique referral URL:

If you don't know how to link it using special images, you can just copy the entire html code from AffiliateBOT (choosing the link that you want to use) and just paste it all as html into your website.

Help, I'm stupid and I don't know why it won't work.

I'm trying to put the link onto my myspace page and it's not working. I pasted it into my interests section but nothing is appearing. Sorry to sould stupid but what am I doing wrong?? Help

I assume your "special" URL is the unique referral URL.

PM me your Affiliatebot.com username & password. I'll excerpt your unique referral URL and send it to you through PM. Once I provide it to you later, always use the one I provided and don't worry about it changing etc. It WILL be tracked back to you.

IMPORTANT: If it's too difficult for you, try not to use your own images or text. Use the ones readily made in Affiliatebot.com so that you can simply COPY the entire HTML Code generated and PASTE it into your website.

Do text links show up on Affiliatebot.com like picture links do? Because I remember using a picture other than the ones provided by them to show someone, and that didn't show up on the list....>______<;;

The pictures and text you see in Affiliatebot.com are uploaded by us. If you use your own pictures and text, it won't appear in Affiliatebot.com!

As long as all pictures and text (doesnt matter if it's from affiliatebot or your own pictures uploaded somewhere) are linked to your unique referral URL, then you can rest assured that if anyone clicks or buys from us by clicking on your pictures and text, it will be tracked back to you.

I don't get it i just reazlied that sometiems the unique url changes? does it suppose to do that??

Every link is different. But they are all your links as long as you have logged into your account and get it. Don't worry, they will work. It's a technology so that other people cannot steal and replace your links from your website. This link uses an encryption technology. As long as you can see your clicks registering, you know that it's working.

oh so as long i just sign on to my accoutn and when i get links even though those appears different but when ppl click on them it still refer back to my affliate accoutn right......wow so techy..but thanks for the reply ...b/c i ddin't know so i just use all the same link i got

You can't paste it as 'text'. You got to paste it as html. PM me where you want to paste, ie, such as your myspace or elsewhere with your password and i'll put it up for you.

I have the same problem as Mrsfinny. My unique referral url changes.
Should I just leave it and not worry about it or use just one of the urls for all the banners I post?

(I posted quite a few banners already, it would be tedious to go back and change them all. So hopefully I don't have to worry about it and all the links will refer back to me!)

You can't link 'as text'... you'll need to link with <a href="your abot link">Type your text or put image here</a>

If you're not sure, just copy the whole AffiliateBOT link code and paste it. Extracting your link out is for more advanced webmasters
