Putting AsiaJam Affiliate links in message boards & forums

How can I use them so they work in message boards and bbs?

When I put the code in it only shows it in HTML format.

I think that you just have to replace the < with [ and so on... However, I'm not entirely sure. On the sig editor there should be buttons at the top that let you make links and stuff, so you can just replace the text with the URLs

If you're putting it in a forum post, then follow these steps:

For image links:

1. Click 'Get Link' on the image banner that you want to use.



2. A pop-up window will appear. Scroll down and you will see a 'Link Code'. First, you need to extract your unique referral URL <-- that's your tracking URL so we know traffic and sales come from you. Copy and paste it into a Word/Note Pad program.




3. Then, in the same Link Code, extract the location of the image banner you selected. Copy and paste it into a Word/Note Pad program.



4. Now, construct your forum post. It should have this format:

PHP Code:

[url="http://your_unique_referral_URL_here"][IMG]http://www.location_of_image_here.com[/IMG][/url] 


Just replace the unique referral URL and location of image and Submit!



For text links:

PHP Code:

[url="http://your_unique_referral_URL_here"]Your_text_here[/url]

You just did it! I see the banner and it can be clicked. Maybe the forum you're posting it in doesn't allow images or something? Are you using this banner as your SIGNATURE? Because some forums don't allow images / link in signatures so you need to read their rules and regulations carefully.

BUT, with MySpace, it's slightly tricky because MySpace doesn't allow Javascripts. So, you just need to remove the Javascript part in the current code. Don't worry - full instructions on how to put your affiliate link on MySpace HERE.

If you still can't get your affiliate link up in MySpace, I'd be happy to put it up for you but you'll have to give me your MySpace username and password.

I think AffiliateBOT is working on a BB code link type and will be released soon so for those of you who don't know how to manipulate links, that would be a great feature!
