Default Humidity Sucks; Help Me, Please?

Whenever I go outside and it is humid, my hair curls and poofs out. I straighten my hair so when it curls my hair looks messed up and bleh ... how can I prevent the poofiness? What products do you use?

Thanks!

I swear that our country is one hottests spots on Earth
with a temperature of 50 degrees celsuis in the summer ..
You can imagine what hair disasters you see on most girls..

Luckily , i know a way to prevent that from happening to me
Here's the way:

- I blowdry my hair straight.
- Use Lee Stafford Poker Straight DeHumidifier ( i can't live without it!)
http://www.leestafford.com/uk/produc...duct.php?pi=14
- I straighten my hair with iron + using this brush with the straightener
http://www.leestafford.com/uk/produc...duct.php?pi=34
(Use this brush while u pull the iron down as you straighten)
If i can find directions on youtube i'll post it here

I have curly hair and i SWEAR it works !! trust me !

My hair does that too. I don't think that there's a whole lot you can do about it. My only advice would be to get a haircut that looks good curly!

I have similar problems. it sucks, doesn't it? :/ this is kinda common, but I guess pulling your hair back when you're outside helps flatten out most of it, somewhat.

Uhm you can try some hair products made especially for dry poofy hair that reacts badly in humid situations, I think Garnier Fructis has many suitable products for you. ^^ GL!

Thank you everyone with your help so far!

My hair is in short layers and it is to my shoulders so I can't put it up if it curls. Dx

But I will try everyone's suggestions! Thanks very much.
