Good for you! It's amazing how much weight you can lose when you cut something out of your diet. I wish you well and hope that you keep up the good work.

Wow, I'm so happy for you!! You have so much dedication to lose weight healthily and I admire that~ Keep going!!

What sort of thing do you eat for lunch? I normally eat bread every day at school but maybe I should try doing what you're doing. :O

thank you !!!
since i'm on the bread diet there aren't many choices .
I eat grilled chicken. Also , i love tuna salad !! it keeps you full!
And , the day before i grilled burgers and while grilling it i topped it
with low fat cheese slice and onion. The cheese melts off . It's really tasty !!
And you can add anything to it .. But don't eat it w/ bread !
Oh, and i'm eating LOTS of soups !!
you can try a different flavour everyday !

On normal days ,

You can find recipes in this thread which are healthy and tasty!
http://forum.asiajam.com/food-talk/1...st-dishes.html
I'll be adding more recipes soon ^^

Just remember to eat 3-4 hours before sleeping . This is very useful!!

Day 4 : no weight loss for today it's okay !
I tried on a pair of jeans that wouldn't close easily before .
But now , They close w/o a problem and they're looser!
Not losing weight doesn't mean i'm going to give up!!
I'm going to have more patience

p.s : yesterday i got teased by my brother , it put me really down!
he said " It doesn't surprise me u're fat , u love eating so much!"

I felt really depressed i was urging myself not to throw up the food i ate earlier ! Even though atm i'm eating more healthier than they are !
It makes me angry that they never support me even though i'm trying!
They were always like that , even when i majored at engineering. They loved putting me down and teasing like saying
"I can imagine you making crooked roads" or
"You cant stay one year at your college"
"you will suck as an architect"

I'm trying not to put their words in my head but i would be
happy if at least for once they could support me

so what do you plan to do after the 2 weeks? just eat less bread than before since you won't be as addicted to it maybe?
i barely eat bread as it is... i don't really like it haha.

After the 2 weeks , I will stick to whole wheat bread and try not to eat it
everyday .. maybe 2 - 3 times a week ?

I'm addicted to the thing !!!! i don't know why . It's not like it has taste or anything !! you're lucky u're not !

Great work : ]
I'm really amazed that you really keep your goals, a lot of people wouldn't manage to do that... Like, once (as an experiment) I decided not to eat any candy, cookies or potato chips for a week... I lasted three days xD

Thanks ! i really apreciate your support .. I think you should try to cut out only 1 thing or aim for something each week , it makes it easier. for example :

- no bread for a week

OR

- no sweets for a week

OR

- Try to drink 1.5 litres of water everyday for a week

experiment something new each week!
you wont get bored
i hope this helps

Good job! This is really great! I did a low-carb diet type thing for about a month and I lost 10 pounds ish? It wasn't very strict though, I still had bread some days.. And I'm 14 years old, so I dont think I'd lose weight that much. But anyways, I usually walked four miles on the treadmill, two miles at a time while watching a movie. Yup yup! And only eating meat, low carb veggies, etc. etc.

Red face Re: My 2-Week No Bread Diet!

You know what, I'm doing this with you.
(: And yeah, I get bored with diets so I'm going to change it up each week too!

The only thing is I'll have to eat sweets at school because EVERYTHING there is unhealthy, and they don't have much choices. Most of the time they don't even have salads.. Must suck for vegetarians in my school.

So yeah. I'm not saying my starting weight though, lol.

(: I too love bread, so I need to stop. xD

that's really great !!!!!!!!!!!!
i know you can do it !!!
if you need anything i'm here

here are a few things u might need to know:

I've been eating more healthy for 2 months and 1/2 and i've never used the term diet except when i started the bread thing . When you're on a diet , you just give up easily . Now , i eat what i want but moderately.
So, what i'm suggesting is start slowly. Like, try not to drink soda for two weeks . You wont lose so much weight but there are other great things about it! ( see my several first posts). Also , Drink a bottle of water before a meal. you'll be full. And dont eat snacks between meals. Do this for the first 2 -3 weeks . And use brown/ whole wheat bread instead of white. This tiny difference is REALLY easy and you will lose weight !
Also , before the bread diet I used to have a " 1 free day" . Like i ate what i want on that day . But STILL , you have to control yourself. I only eat 1 free meal because i've learned to feel guilty if i ate alot .
for example , i love fast food. I basically lived on it before. So , on my free day . Instead of buying a burger w/ french fries and coke . I only eat a burger and drink water/juice. Or french fries w/ water.
this free day helps me to continue !!!!!!!!

i hope this helps
