Birth control helps. A LOT. Well for me anyways. :3

And wash your face at least twice a day.
And drink lots of water.

Yeah, I use Neutrogena scrub along with some toner and acne cream, and it's really cleared my skin up pretty well. I still get the occasional breakout, of course, but nothing out of control...

I was reading ElleGirl magazine and I tried this suggestion they had for a mask; it worked wonders. Use one raw egg and some mango and mix it together. Put it on your face as a mask and let it sit for 20 minutes. When its time to take it off, use some sugar to scrub your face to get rid of dead skin cells, but don't scrub too hard because you might irritate your skin. When you remove the mask you should have a noticable difference in the softness and luminosity of your skin.

meh. thats what i did butttt unlucky for me, my skin doesnt like those stuff... now im going to get birth control >.<
my doctor said it works.... i dont want bigger boobs :|

Ro-Accutane gets a lot of recommendations.

Actually...I don't reccomend accutane...I think it would really clear up your acne but it's got lots of side effects.

MAKE SURE that you ask your dermatologist for all the side effects and all the good and bad of products. Accutane will do something like this:

You take it and for a few days things will look good then zits will come up and your doctor will up your dosage then more zits and pimples and it will be disgusting! but that's your body getting rid of the oil glands and all the bacteria/cystic zits underneath your skin.

It also makes you depressed, and well, dry skin and lips, etc...

be careful. I say, go with something that isn't az crazy as accutane. especially if your problem can't be solved with good facial scrubs, lazer treatment, and or exercise and healthy eating.

ive had acne since 4th grade and absolutely nothing helped long term.. a few years ago i went on accutane and it completely cleared up my face (i was acne free for about two years after i stopped taking it!). my face started to break out badly again recently, so ive just started my second trial of it. it does make your acne worse at the beginning (which unfortuantely is the stage im at now), but it really is worth the chapped lips in the end. the only really serious side effect in my opinion, is birth defects, but to avoid that every month you are required to take a pregnancy test and this complicated birth control pledge/test thing.

my dermatologist told me the depression thing is only a concern because a senator's son killed himself while he was taking accutane. at the time of his suicide however, he was also drunk and on drugs, but it was blamed on the accutane anyway. soo as far as i know, thats the only reason why its listed as a side effect. i certainly dont feel anymore depressed than usual while on this..
