Default Long straight hair +round face=which haircut?

Hey guys,
I think I'm seriously in need of advice
I think I need a new haircut but I got my hair straightened in August so there aren't that much opportunities for me + I have thin hair and a round face.
Right now it's just the most terrible combination for me
I want an asian haircut cause it seems like my mom only approves of them (i'm asian btw) without telling me "you look old"
can somebody help me?!

For round faces, I think side-swept bangs are the way to go. I have a kind of heart-shaped face, so I have the same problem, kind of. I think you could pull off layers, too, but they would have to be long layers, you know? Not too widely-spaced, if that makes sense. Good luck with this!

Yupp yupp yupp I agree with the side swept bangs~
They add angles to the round face and make it appear longer. Well that's what seventeen told me xP
But I do have side bangs and a round faceee.
Oh and you can have long layers with the shortest layers hitting the bottom of your face. I used to have that. And I read that in seventeen too xD

Yeh, I also think side swept bangs look really good on round faces.

well for thin hair, i would say keep it not TOO long, because then the thinness is really evident. a textured, layered cut is good, so you can have more body. for a round face, don't have it shorter than chinlength, shoulder length or a little past is good to lengthen your face. but if your hair is very skimpy long, it will make yout face look bigger.

Be careful on the sideswept fringe. If the fringe sweeps to the side at too much of a horizontal angle, then it can make your face look wider. Keep it as close to the vertical side of things as you can. And actuallyyy, long straight hair is perfect for round faces, because it leads people's eyes straight down and gives the illusion of elongation and thinness. The oval face shape is the "perfect" face shape ... draw it on a piece of paper and then draw a round face shape (basically a circle) on top of it. Wherever the outline of the round face shape leaves the oval shape is what you need to cover up, and wherever the outline of the round face shape doesn't read the oval shape needs to be "added" by using illusions. So you'll find that the face is too wide, the cheeks need to be covered, and the face is too short, so you need to add the illusion of length. I probably made it sound wayyy more confusing then it is, so I can draw a picture if you me too >> Hope this helps in your haircut decision makinggg~
