would you use pills to lose weight?
i dunno if it's legal to post abt pills O_O... but i'm just curious if i should try taking pills to lose a lil weight coz i'm too lazy to exercise :S
i'm not sure if you have the experience of seeing a whole shelf of 'weight control/losing weight' pills selling at the local drug store like here where i live... but anyways they kept on saying stuff like you can lose up to 10kg a month or lose 3 inch a week or sth like that which makes them attractive =_=
so would u actually take pills to help to lose weight? :S i just got attracted to some sort of pills advertisement lately (haven't bought them yet tho)... i'm not very very very worried abt the side-effects they'll give while taking, i'm more worried abt whether it'll actually affect my health badly afterwards ><

hmm i dunno how exactly do these drugs make you lose weight? >__<;;;
personally i wouldn't use that method to lose weight, because once you start taking them you've got to continue or you'll put the weight back on after, if you went back to how you were before, right? well... i dunno how it works x'D but i would still be kinda wary of taking them xP

i dunno...it's like it will make u eat less...and lose excess 'water' in ur body.... and make you go washroom more...stuff like that :/
yea one of the bad thing is u might gain ur weight back if you discontinue and never change the way u eat...
but that is like the fastest and laziest way of losing weight.... which makes it soooooooooooooooo attractive ><

I wouldn't ever take pills to lose weight >.<
One of the biggest examples I use is my aunt. As a girl, she was constantly worried about her weight and so she started taking diet pills. Eventually, she got addicted to them and that led up to her believing all of these other pills would help her lose weight (like oxycotin). She's over 50 years old now and STILL takes diet pills (along with valiums, oxycotins, and other pills) to help her lose weight (even though she's about 50 pounds overweight).
The point is--the pills never helped her. Also, you said you want to lose weight without exercising but if you look at the fine print on diet pill bottles, most say that the results are achieved WITH EXERCISE.
If I were you, I would try to fit in exercise and healthy eating and see how that goes first. I began by just switching from sodas to water and lost around six pounds I believe the first month or so. Which is really a huuuuge improvement because I believe losing 2 pounds a month is the healthy average.

I've taken natural diet pills before, I believe they're safe since they're all natural --- AKA non addictive? ^^' However, you're supposed to take them before meals, but I always forgot and took them after, which I don't think helped much/at all. T.T~
They were the green tea caffiene kind, basically what they do is make your heart race faster than normal, and that burns a few extra calories. Nothing bad ever happened to me, except I felt a little nervous/edgy after I took them --- But any caffiene in large amounts does that to me. XD;
Just do some more research before you take any, okay? Check around on Google, read people's pesonal experiences, and then make your own descison --- And yeah, basically diet pills are just a helper, you still have to eat like a bird six times a day, and work out like 24 hours a week or something. -_-;
If you want a really lazy method of losing weight, just eat less than you normally do! I do this sometimes for a week or so, and I usually lose three pounds the first day, ((That's all the water weight you lose,)) And then one pound a day afterwards.

cocaine makes you lose weight. Byut don't get it haha
i'd advise you not to get those pills.
If you were really determined to lose weight you'd be excericisng and dieting. Not turning to pills.

No, I dont think its healthy. It is on the same level as smoking ciggarettes and taking other drugs to lose weight. A lot of diet pills significantly increase your risk of a heart attack and that combined with rapidly losing weight (which also increases your risk of a heart attack) can be deadly.
I think green tea is a natural appetite supressor? Try drinking that in the morning and around lunchtime. And just eat less! You dont have to eat healthier necessarily, but just limit your intake of junk food.

I don't think you should. It's not natural. Yes, a lot of people are lazy to lose weight, but you can add things into your daily life to make you lose weight. Instead of taking a car or bus, walk (if it's not too far away, like more than an hour, or if you have to be there at a certain time.), take the stairs, lift full water bottles or something heavy. You can even run one lap around your house/apartment each day. It really doesn't take too much to lose weight. Pills are not the way to go. I've seen a couple people try them and it didn't do anything for them. Also, eat healthy. A good diet and good weight comes from regular exercise and good food. You didn't even have to work out everyday, just up to 3 hours for 3 days out of the week.

Alli seems promising (it's the first FDA approved weight loss pill that is REALLY clinically proven to aid in weight loss). I'm not trying to lose anyweight so I wouldnt take any drugs. But if I were overweight? Yeah, I probably would take Alli (and only Alli) while I'm watching my diet. I think it's pretty neat, cause it works by taking most of the fat you eat and dumping it into the interstinal tract. So that would mean if you ate too much fatty foods, you would be having a VERY unpleasant trip to the bathroom.

Those sound more like laxatives to me. Diet pills are supposed to increase your metabolism rate and allow you to burn off fat easier, but most of the time they come with hefty side effects. The FDA isn't always trustworthy either, in my opinion. Tons of new clinical medicines come and go, because the side effects always prove too dangerous to continue with its distribution. I'd rather not trust FDA as a guidline for whatever I put in my body.

I won't. most of the times you loose weight but once you quit.. you have the risk to come on more weight. and they are so not healthy.. at least.. I think so ^^

Never!
Pills are a big no-no.
My mom used them at one point and they didn't help her at all. Thank god she didn't get addicted.
Just. Don't. Use. Them.

I wouldn't take pills to lose weight myself..
I would just exercise. I think that's healthier, too.

I'm very lazy too xD ha ha. So what I did, was get a job where I would be standing all day. I currently work at donut king, so we're rushing around all day on our feet, and I'm already losing some weight ...And earning money!! If you want to tone up, you can also look for jobs where you lift things a lot. My brother was a night stocker at a supermarket, and he toned up very well from all the heavy listing and brisk walking that they do.
As everyone else said, I don't think those pills are very healthy. And I don't think I've ever met anyone who said that they actually worked o_o

ahh on this subject, my friend's mum bought her some weight-loss herbal powder stuff (to make into drinks), it cost £100 @ A@
which is a crazy amount of money, seeing as i know my friend could lose weight by just eating less (she eats SO much chocolate and biscuits etc.) and her mum is really mean about her weight too >__<

I tried diet pills and basically they prevented me from feeling hungry so I didn't eat and lost 3 pounds in a day or two. The bad thing about them is that they made me feel light headed and whoozy at times because of the caffeine. Not very helpful if you're in school. I also tried taking the pills and eating a little food. I ended up throwing up during school and it was not a pleasant experience. I personally wouldn't take them ever again.

i actually dun eat a lot D: but i think my metabolism is actually very very slow... which i dunno how to make it go faster...
i actually dun eat breakfast too... coz most likely i would be sleeping at that time O_O...would that affect my process of losing weight too?
and the place where i live now takes me like 25 mins of walking in order for me to get to the train station then go to work, which is also mean it takes another 25 mins for me to walk home from the train station.... i guess that's a lil exercise? >_>;;;
