I read about someone doing this in a another forum a while ago and was really looking foward to it.

My tummy is poking out a tad to where I don't like how it looks in tight fitting shirts. And I would really love for my thighs/legs to be smalller so I can look nice in shorts and skirts.
So I want to lose at least, 15-20 pounds but haven't been able to get out of a certain weight range since my sophomore year ; A ;


for 28-04
Excerise: Actually do Turbo jam when I come home from my 40 minute walk home from school.
Do a lot more Mikumikudances when I'm just sitting at the computer doing nothing.
Diet: No snacking after dinner. I always seem to eat when I can find nothing better to do =w= I'll fill that with dancing though.
Reward: Dressing up and hanging out with my friend whom I haven't seen in a month on SAT.
goal(if I my add): To loose atlest 3-4 pounds this week :3

uwww i stopped eating cereal a bit i think. but i found a new favourite food...crunch corners ! luckily these are limited as i have about 4 to last me a week.so i had one today, but gonna try dance it off x'D

Oooh I'd like to join in.. recently been feeling quite rubbish about my weight. Its not like I've put too much on I suppose I just don't like my stomach and extra weight around my hips. Icky.

For this week

Exercise: I've already started doing some sit ups and stretches to tone up my middle when I get out of bed in the morning and when I go to sleep at night but this morning I think I over did it... and now my ribs and stomach muscles hurt like crazy >.<
I already have quite an active life because I always walk from the city to college and to my boyfriends which takes 15 odd minutes each way. I also do this carrying my laptop which seems to weigh a ton and my other bags.
I don't want to say I'm going to do more excercise than this because its not very realistic for me especially right now because I'm very busy with my two jobs, uni and work experience placement. I want to make goals which are do-able!

Eating: This is the main area I need to improve on. My problem is when I'm at my boyfriends or at work/uni and I just buy random junk food from the shop.. like crisps, dips and cakey thingys. Im also rather addicted to Red bull, which is rather an expensive habit I must spend a fortune on all this rubbish.
I'll cut all that out, I'm going to start taking food with me from home (since thats partly what I pay my mum rent for!) and not buying anything when I'm out. Unless its at my boyfriends where I'll buy something senseible for tea and not TAKE AWAY >.<

Treat: My treat will be going out dancing on Saturday with my friends and boyfriend. Where I will allow myself to drink some red bull since its the only thing I can drink with Vodka ^_^ Hopefully I will have saved enough not to be too much out of pocket for Saturday either!

This is a great idea for a thread

ok a bit late to join but i had already started on my own. i want to lose around 10 pounds and get rid of cellulite

exercise- already did some running and boxing yesterday n today.. should keep doing it at least 3 more times this week
food- try not to eat chocolate or snack so much at night
treat- buy some cute clothes on my trip soon

Phew, my net returned. I've been MIA for 3 days, because of a hellish storm. So how's everyone doing?

Me...well, my family had orthodox easter this Sunday, so there was heaps of food, and while I ate sweets , I've been eating less and less everyday . I think this works a lot better then quitting cold turkey.

As for exercise, I think I'm gonna try to do some Para Para right now

I'm downloading them into my computer, and then playing them with VLC which has the best newbie dancing option ever:

when i came back from school, i ate 2 bowls of cereal and 2 anzac biscuits auuugh !!

gonna try dance it off .. want to learn some parapara but site above only had wmv videos i think.. erm i' ll go check the parapara board

Great idea.
I need to tone my arms, my abdomen..trim my waist line and shed about 10lbs..so I look trim and slender, continue the goal over the course of 2 months for going to see family i haven't seen in 8 years, and again til August for American Idol Auditions..

Exercise: Dancing; Crunches; Walking/Fast Walking for 30mins; Taibo; pushups and lifting 5-10lbs

Food: Watch intake, make sure portionsare not huge and, not going back for seconds; no junk food or fast food, except for salads/ice cream/parfait and so forth; breakfast bars, cereal, yogurts, toast, 3 meals a day and so on ( havent done that since high school)

Treat: Buying a new swimsuit and summer dress

There's a parapara board? Where, where

Yup, they're wmv, but since vlc can play anything, it works for me

I learned one routine really well (I can do it just with the music, no looking) and one so-so. Can't say I like either song - one is called ale japan and it's soccerish, but really easy and one is Bazookistan, and is a silly remix of some russian sounding music and has some tricky parts.

But I saw a really cool one called Catch you, catch me (I think) but the arm movements there are wild... sooo much harder

Weight Loss Target:
20-30 pounds.

Diet:
5 Smalll meals a day.
(Dole Tiny fruit cups, small chicken strip (4), 100-calorie snack, Low-carb ice cream, small vegetable cup) ; basically what i'll be having every school day.

Excersize:
30 minutes running every day.
Gym class (school) 5 days a week.
Walking 3 miles every 2 weeks. (it's how far my mall is. xD)
Walking 2 miles every week. (for my store's material's.)

Goal For The End Of This Week:
Death Note Book #1!
& if not that, then,
3/4 Sleeve Jacket from AE.
(i can wear that even if i get skinnier !)

Since i'm starting today (May 1st)
I shall be posting how much i lost, or gained, on the 8th. <3.

Today went great, I didn't eat one sweet thing, and I ate regular 5 meals, instead of munching all. day. long.

*cheers* I love to see everyone not only joining in but not getting frustrated when we make little slips. A piece of cake never ruined anybody. Getting depressed over it and giving up will!!! *cheers some more* Y'all are awesome.

I did fairly good this week and last. Rode my bike four or five days each week and watched the sweets. I actually went through and cleaned out my pantry/fridge just to remove the temptations. I replaced several usual "snack" or "junk" foods we usually keep around with some fresh fruit and whole grain crackers and hummus. That way, if I absolutely MUST munch, it'll be on something healthy. For me, it's way easier if I actually have to interrupt what I'm doing and go OUT to get something sweet or unhealthy.

P.S. Just a note to those of us watching our diets, I made a post just now in the Food section of the forums. It has a newly discovered website with delicious, healthy Japanese bento recipes as well as tips for making fun and yummy daily bento lunches to take with you. The lady not only offers way simple instructions and recipes but she diets as well so she often lists all the calories for her bentos so you can keep a closer tab on what you're taking in each day. <3

How about posting when we see some good results too, not only when we fail! It's much more encouraging.

This morning, after I did my para, my arms hurt so bad I couldn't do the routine in fullspeed (that means it's working). Also, when I went to the bath to wash my face, I could already see the "lovehandles" (ugh, more like "spare blubber") deflated a bit. They don't stick out so much! For a couple of days of eating what I want, except not sweets, that's cool!


Also, this is even better - I haven't had one blemish on my face since I started this!!!. I think I'm on to something here. And if it's a battle between eating sweets and having pimples vs eating maybe one portion of sweets occasionally and having a clean face...

then holycrap, sign me up to the clean face asap! Then again I started a beauty make-over too (searched for the perfect cleanser and day cream - it evens out skin tone, and fades spots and scars! - and also wearing sunblock every day).

Cool I'll join. I need to lose about lose 3 stones (40ish pounds) For a late summer holiday. My downfall is tea, not eating during the day then stuffing myself at night. When I do eat during the day its high fat/high sugar stuff. I've joined the gym though.

Goal: To able to wear a bikinis/shorts/skirts this summer and go on a big shopping spree.

Exercise: An hour in the main gym twice a week and 2 classes per week and build up from that. That parapara stuff looks good so I'll try that and some jogging. Oh and join weight watchers.

I'll psot an update every two weeks.
