how much you weigh will depend on how much muscle you have too.. so jmyr you do alot of exercise. i'm about the same height as you, and weigh er 110pounds last time i checked, but i do not so much exercise so i guess my weight is mainly fat haha
90 to 95pounds is not unreasonable for 5'1", i think, although it is in the skinny end.

wow, tainted, you're not eating much for that much exercise .. i think you would feel ill and lose weight very fast.. which is not so good for you, and for losing weight in general.. take care of yourself n __n

anyway, i think i've lost weight recently but i have no scales to check :C

The thing is that I don't eat that much at all. I only eat when I'm hungry, or when I need to get some calories in so I don't pass out.

DX I failed for breakfast, but I probably won't be hungry for the rest of the day >>

I'm around....5'7" and I weigh around 178 pounds. I'm nowhere near a scale so I don't know. >> I'll just weigh myself at the airport when I get back home

ehhhh, soooo......
exams are starting this week!
poop.
means more studying, more eating.......
yuck.

omgoodness i weighed myself recently and i reached like a frikken 145 pds!!!!!
but then again thats like...10-15 min after i ate breakfast (which is kinda a lot lol) and around a pitcher of water........ >.>

well anyways i panicked and was on the verge of crying until my sister told me the weight was mostly water lmaoo.
we know this because
Flashback: one time we went to a buffet thing at my aunt's place, and right after, we weighed ourself just for curiosity. i was 140 and it reached 155ish!!!
i was like WTF?! but yeahh lmaoo.flashback ends.

anyways, later on that day, i went to a family party, and i wore shorts and a shirt. when my relatives saw me, almost all of them said that i lost weight, && that i looked great! honestly i was so happy i thought i was gonna shit myself (lmao)

and also today, i wore my pants which i NEVER EVER wore cuzz it was soo tight on me i could barely breathe! plus the leg parts, i couldnt even pinch and it looked sooo stretched out. (N) anyways, today at church i decided to finally give it a try. i was astonished. it fit me. IT FIT. =O i was screaming ahahahh. and alsoo, i pinched the leg parts, and there was even extra fabric all scrunching lol so my legs also got smaller =]

ive gotta say, im very happy with my accomplishments. ill just mntain my diet && exercise. im still aiming to lose weight since i STILL AM on the chubby side mind you. though not as much anymore =]

wahhh i wish i weighed 110 pds.....sigh. i have to work soooo flippen hard to get a reasonable body weight while some ppl are just born with it. what a depressing thoughtt.....SIGH.

* Pray that thighs also get smaller while trying to make my stomache flatter!

* After my stomache seems flatter, I'll slowly start to focus on making my butt smaller, haha.
hmmmmm how should i explain this......
you dont exactly get to pick where you want to lose weight =S
when you exercise you lose weight or 'fat' everywhere in your body. where it gets rid off faster, will depend on how your body works.
'spot reducing' is picking a part and making it smaller. && thats impossible.
so if you do like 534587369 situps daily, it doesNOTHING to your stomach at all. it helps your muscles probably but as of making it smaller, it doesn't work =S

though the good thing is your body loses weight all at the same time! so though its really slow, at least your whole body is losing fat =]

So today I thought, hey I'll finally weigh myself just to see if I've lost anything in the past month, with all this exercise I've been doing...

So I hopped on....

And...I dont know why and I f*ckin dont know WHY but...

But....

I've GAINED 7 KGS

Muscle? I dunno

Well, when you weigh yourself, you should always:

- weight at the same time - prefferably morning before bfast.
- not wear anything or wear the same clothes
- don't pick that time of the month for weighing because then you add water pounds regardless
- use the same scale (don't weight with different ones, they can vary wildly)

Anyways, you can gain 7 kg of pure muscle, but maybe in like a couple of years, so it could be some new muscle, water weight, or you didn't go to the bathroom, or you just ate, or some added fat or a combination of all. Or you didn't weight yourself correctly the first time.

A much better way to realise how you look is measuring bust/waist/butt. Because when you lose weight, even if you gain muscle, muscle is more compact and smaller, and you'll be losing inches. Also should be done morning, before you can eat/get bloated/get swollen muscles from exercise/etc. Just remember to measure waist at your belly button (that way you don't end up making errors by measuring higher or lower, and getting different results) and measuring the fattest part of your butt (basically make the tightest measuring tape circle to be able to slide it from waist downwards without wiggling).





As for my efforts, well I didn't gain , but then again I wasn't very strict, and had a few relapses. But I'm getting used to eating less, as a habit, and not as a "omg, conscious dieting with effort"

i lost 2kg. thats like 4lbs i think. iam more toned now since last autumn 14lbs/ 6kg to go till target weightloss baby!!!! now feel like doing MC Hammers infamous dance to go with his song 'cant touch this'
guys i recommend thinking back on the day of songs that you cant not dance to, smash hits such as the eye of the tiger (for those rocky balboa moments), spice girls, britney spears, justin, michael jackson smooth criminal, salt and pepper push it, double trouble, ect. make a mahoosive dance mix, download onto CD's, ur Ipod, mp3s and put them on in your room for an hour a night and just dance like crazy. you can even make exercise moves into a dance move like twirl, crunches, twirl, shimmy, straddle x5 ect. and dont forget the good old bursts of crazy mooving/dancing/jumpingonthespot.punching.and.kickingtheair.notrea llyadancemove.buthighlyenergetic. ahh bits great fun and burns lots of calories.
btw, it is true that you cant choose a particular area to loose weight on per say, but you can concentrate on an area to tone up. like situps wont make you loose weight particularly on your stomach, but if your stomach is already quite flat, it will begin to develop the muscle there and tone up the lines/definition so dont give up on them and get into a routine of doing them, cause the more you train, the more you'll be able to do. try increasing the amount you can do each week and b4 you know it youl be doing like 50, 100, maybe even more, effortlessly so gambatte. i'll try my hardest too. i used to be able to do 100 without stopping but stopped training, but since picking it back up, i worked my way up to 70 without stoppng, nxt week i'l try 75 so wish me luck

I would love to lose weight and I am trying...is what I've listed below enough?

Breakfast: Cheerios or Alpen (I don't add any sugar on it) and a glass of water.
Lunch: Wholemeal sandwich, cereal bar and a piece of fruit.
Dinner: Whatever my nan cooks but as she's trying to lose weight too it's usually healthy.
Supper: Apple and glass of milk.

I rarely snack between meals but if I do it's fruit. I drink a lot of water too.

I walk home from school which takes me about 20 minutes, I do sit ups and press ups plus I normally do a mile on the exercise bike.

Its enough for what you are trying to do, but fruit is pure sugar. Try a veggie like tomatoes ((if your tomatoes don't have e. Coli like our's do)) or celery. Celery has a lot of water in it so you can also increase your water intake by eating it. Have a piece of lunchmeat during snacks too. What you are trying to do is very protein limiting ((>>' like mine but I', taking protein pills)) and you can damage yourself by doing it like I did last summer by only eating salads with no meat at all. Make sure you still have your daily fats also. Milk is good if its not skim milk, but you can also eat salami, which has a lot of fat in it. Remember, only eat one piece of salami every two days because it can be bad for you if that is all you eat.

kayy, honestly you guys, i swear i think i gained 5 pds....
ive been eating a lot lately, && havent been doing much exercise...
this sucks.

i think its cuzz my brain is set that " i lost weight, hurraayy i can eat again!"
&& now my diet isnt as strict anymore....dammit!
ill have to get back on track....
hm.

my mom suggested that i run after i walk home from school lol, i could chase my sister on her bike?
ahahh, it sounds fun but im out of shape so ill have to work on that.

anyways, i HAVE to lose weight by.....
aug 20?
cuzz thats when im going to vacation at philippines!
&& im scared cuzz i GUARANTEE ill eat a lot there && thus, gain weight.

HEY GUYS! you know everycup of ice you eat equals 2 hundred something calories gone. i found that out..and i love eating ice it's all i eat besides tempura, steamed vegetables and instand ramen bowls. I guess that's why my stomachg always growls after eating ice. i felt all stupid cuz i was the only one who didnt know that but you guys prolly already knew.

im 5'5
im 90 lbs
and i eat ALOT my mother always yells at me for eating the groceries but i cant gain wieght! ive been trying and trying, I have even turned to soul food for a while, so any suggestions ps: Dont even mention quitting ice >:[

i would LOVE to lose some weight ..

i gained 25 pounds in the past year !! and now i can't fit into my clothes !!
i'm eating healthy, drinking water ALOT and herbal tea .. SO ..

will i be able to be fit before september .. ??

ok!! i need to get properly healthy. i am currently at 133 pounds, 5'10". i had gained a bunch of weight when i went to visit my dad in may, but i have pretty much lost it all. i am a bit of a junk food fiend but i think if i just allow myself chips on the weekend i should be fine. and TODAY i will go to the gym!!! my goal is to get to 125 which i think is ridiculously reasonable.

wow kawaii you are very skinny ! ohh actually i never thought of the ice thing .. does it work very well ? i can't imagine it would make you lose that many calories.
we're getting scales soon hopefully which i'm super happy about > u<

the ice thing is not true... drinking cold water CAN help you burn calories but.. not thaaaat much. but definitely drinking your 8 glasses a day will improve weight loss
