I really can only eat a lot of meat when I go to a restaurant lol... I'm weird I know... I grew a lot height wise in the last two years and yer, my weight distribution is bad lol, BMI is well under as well...

Well you'll probably broaden out a bit as you grow up

And I feel weird saying that seeing as I'm only 17 but oh well

I lost a little bit of weight yay! Thanks to my mini stepper <3 only 2lbs but better than nothing XD

Next week another 2lbs shall be gone!!

Does anyone know a good method to resist carbs? T_T
I know carbs are not the devil's food, but I eat sooo much more than I need.

I wish I could cut the amount I eat but I'm finding it really hard. ;_;

at uni, i feel like i' ve lost weight 8D

haven't weighed myself yet but.. i feel thinner.
these past couple of days i' ve been eating a lot though xD;

but all in all, going well : D


i'm just nervous about going home for the holidays, etc.
'cause i will eat a lot more T 3T
at uni, if i feel i ate a lot for lunch, i can have a small supper.
but at home, i can't get out of that. my parents don't like me dieting maybe huuu.

Well done as long as you feel good it doesn't matter if you have lost gained or stayed the same!!

When I was at uni it really was up and down, 1st year I kinda stayed the same, second year I dropped down to 45kg and then 3rd year through stress and because it was my final yr it increased to 52kg.

Now I am at 49-50kg but need to lose a bit more cos I'm a shorty!

bwaaugh im a sugar addict and i`m always on the computer nd i`m often EATING at the computer...therein is a huge chunk of my problem LOL. nd the other is...i have a huge appetite for being a girl nd my height [5'1" - and i eat more than most of my guy friends D:] ...nd unlike those lucky skinny girls who eat a lot nd it vanishes..mine actually sticks around and shows xPPP~

can i try jumping in on this ~? i def need some more motivation !! =.=

Exercise
bwaaugh i dunno ! =.= i`ve always hated formal exercise... hmn. Okay. No more taking the bus to the train - that`ll force me to take that 15 min walk back and forth. I think I want to try jogging 3x a week with my friend ! Thurs, Sat, and Mon mornings. Starting next week because I need to bring my running shoes from home to dorms xD;

Diet
No more sugared drinks ! >.<< And no more eating at the computer !! seriously i can never stop when i do that =.=

Reward
To look better in cosplay xDDDD ~ And....I will buy myself a manga every TWO weeks I keep this up =DD *THATS* motivational right there xD. Unless I give in nd buy them anyway when coupons appear...NO i must be good xPP ahaha...

I think it'd be best to post here so I stay motivated :P

I've decided to go on a fast because I've honestly tried all kinds of diets but my weight just doesn't want to drop anymore. I don't think I'm fat, I just want to drop a few pounds for myself.

Current measurements (Nov.7)
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 100 lbs
B 33"
W 24"
H 33.5"

Diet goal:


Motivation: In January, I might get my belly re-pierced and a little tattoo on my inside hip? (idk how to describe..) So I want to lose weight before getting those done ^^ Also, my friend wants to do a photoshoot of me, so that's gonna push me as well.

Plan: My fast will probably be for 4 days.(Just water and a special drink). After that, I'll continue with a stricter diet and exercise plan than before.
NO: bad carbs, sugars, fats, soda, red meat, candy, instant food..
Yes: Water water water! tea, tofu, fish, cereal, veggies, fruits, good carbs

Well! I'm not really needing to lose weight per se, but I keep putting on weight and want to put an end to that!

FOOD: Stop eating rubbish between meals, eat more protein since I probably don't get enough since I've been a vegetarian for my whole life!

EXERCISE: Wii Fit everyday to keep an eye on my BMI, try to actually DO some exercise and stick to my exercise programme when I make it for my Biology A Level!

But woohoo I recently reached 5ft2, so now my BMI is lower from doing nothing...score!

AUGH FAIL. I gained 4 lbs! I've been eating way too much meat & candy and not enough vegetables >_<

I accidentally forgot I had an egg/cheese/bacon sandwich for breakfast so after school i made a 2 egg omellete. this isn't going too well for me...

i don't think i'm gaining much weight now but not losing it definitely T ^T there is just so much tempting food now i can buy my own..... and i love grocery shopping too much haha

i really want to crack down.. it's so hard. i can't have anything i can eat without cooking in my room or i will snack on it. even had to ask to leave my cereal in my friend's room (we eat breakfast together). but i've gotta learn.. ahaha..

anyone know any good tips for self-control?
i could get pictures of skinny people and put it near food, hahaha.
going to try the water thing again though.. 'cause i haven't been drinking much water recently either.


@akane, ahhh uhm i don't suggest a fast > x<;;; it's not a good idea as although you will lose a lot of weight in that time, you will put it back on straightaway as you go back to eating.. maybe even more. your body goes into a kind of starvation mode while you' re fasting, and adjusts to getting very little/no food by storing a lot. when you go back to eating, it will store so much of that..
i remember i ate very very little for a week when i was ill, and at the end of the week i was much thinner, but then i put more back on after T 3T

Heh. Well I...have been completely epicly failing. Giving into my cravings. Finding excuses not to exercise. Being a lazy bum. >.< Even when I cook, I put in a lot of extra junky oil/butter/what have you

But my friend just invited me to go running with her tomorrow morning ! so will be a good jump start back into it ^.^~~

I`m going to stick with my old plan....lOL.

I haven`t bought manga yet at least xP

need to keep this thread active .. ! haha

i was doing super well yesterday then got some cereal..turns out someone opened my packet and ate what looked like half !? T ^T so angry so i ate so much ahahaa.... anyway the start of this week has been BAD. the evenings are my weak point. i like to snack.
but i made a chart.. planning what i would eat that day. it works until i get to the evening..hahaha...... anyway, this week's plan:


eating
-drink lots and lots of water, green tea.
-one bowl of cereal a day max
-no eating out of the plan unless in a 'special' situation type thing.. eg, someone offers me some nice food. in which case, try and cut back on something else.
-NO eating after 8pm, unless it is a late supper (try and avoid that though)
-don't thinkt that if i eat something i shouldn't .. 'oh today i've failed i might as well eat more' - A- stop !

exercise
really i get enough exercise walking to the shops, departments haha, but
learn more of the wonder girls, 'tell me' dance ! > v<

reward
if i get 5 or more 'good days' on the chart (not possible for this week now haha, but same reward will continue onto next weeks. i should think of specific things i could buy...more motivation maybe ne) then i can treat myself to nice clothes,something like that/ NOT FOOD. as i will have surely saved money not buying food aha ~

Let's see.. My weigh is actually pretty normal, but i want to loose a little around my waist and gain some muscles :3
I want to look good to my next live in february

Eating:
-Keep up eating like I do now
-Drink LOTS of water

Exercises:
- Lots of stage-performing-practice
- At least 20 push-ups and sit-ups each day

This will be for the rest of this week and next week..

Reward:
A new necklace + the clothes I ordered from a magazine last week

i want to lose weight too ^^

i will try to drink a lot of water and green tea for the next week, and also try to eat none candy, instant food or bread and milk (but this will be easy I HATE MILK )

to fit my body i will go to a fitness-center 3 times the week for 2 hours , yes and snowboarding, i hope i will final lose weight (^_^)V

my present will be new shoes (i love shoes )

So, I think it'll be better if I have this all written down so that I can follow my plan better. XD
I'm going to be tracking week by week with goals and rewards (: So.. here goes!

Current Weight: 141 pounds
Current Goal: 130 pounds
Don't have measurements, but once I get measuring tape I can get them.
I also have a weird boredom eating problem.. so I should try to stop that. lol

Exercise goals:
run/jog/walk 1.5 miles or more at least five days a week
have a constant time each day for this so it becomes more of a regular thing

Eating goals:
Eat less carbs and junk. Basically, lessen portions. No snacking! Reduce junk food! And drink more water, less soda.

Reward for end of the week:
Buy myself a cute strawberry charm for my HK purse ^_^

Hope I can do it~!
