J-rock or J-actor hair

Don't know much about hair, but I really like the actors and j-rockers hairstyles. I kinda want a hairstyle like them, but not to extreme. I'm willing to cut some part of my hair and color it, (Not pink, blue and green) Cause it stands out to much. Well I'm ok with like super dark blue. And if possible could you also advice me on how to do a hair like that like i said no clue whatsoever about hairstyling. Uhmm not to complicated if possible..Don't want to many hair product in my hair..And I know about gatsby but i can buy it where i live.

These are hairstyle that my friend made for me (Just showing what kind of hairstyles I'm up to.)

And finally the hair I have now without any hair products.

And the back...Yeah I know crappy picture I took it myself.

Hmm more details...My longes bang is about to the end of my chin and my hair at the top is kinda short like 2 inches maybe? or 1 and 3/4 inches don't know, my back hair is almost to the should or the end of my neck. And my side burn or what you call them are down to the middle of my neck or a bit longer.

Hope this is enough of details to help me choose a hairstyle..

So plz help..I've got some soft J-rock clothes all I need now is a hairstyle.

think the hairstyle you had a year ago would be great.
maybe you can use some clip on extentions to make it longer to get some other styles.

your hair a year ago is kinda a mini version of kanon's hair. =)

or you can do it a bit like kyo's. you can also back comb the back to make it even more 'Jrock'

don't know if you want to cut it?? but you can do the back short and back comb it.

or you can even do this with it. just let it get a bit layerd. and back combing again.

hopes it kinda makes sence XD

*edit* about the color: maybe you can dye it a bit blond? think it will also go great with your normal haircolor.
if you backcomb your hair you can just spray heavy hairspray in it.

my brother is 'emo-ish' and he put his hair up and makes it hard with titan spray. =)
it works sooo good!

my boyfriend has just started dressing jrock ish and is styling his hair like it. ill take a picture of it next time i see him

i recommend mangahead by fructis with hairspray and some straightners

Thnx for the advice everyone, I'll think i go with this hair. Seems I need to save up a bit more though. Anyone know any more detail about how to get it like this?

There's layers, obviously. Hiroto seems to have his hair thinned out at the top, so ask the person who cuts it to do that... And honestly, you really don't need to tease it( backcomb) at all. The hair is short enough it will stand up on it's own.

What about the ear area...I've noticed that alot of J-rocker cuts their hair around the area. My hair around there is as long as my sideburn covering my ears..should I cut them shorter which will make me reveal my ears or let them be? And the top of my head is thinned already and also the end of my back. Should i thinn anywhere more?

long super straight hair near your ears are really common with jrock haircuts, so dont cut them!
if its like short everywhere else then longer there it tends to look more jrockish
ive noticed its more irregular lengths, so make sure they dont cut it all the same length

Noo I'm meaning about the top of my ear like if i separate the hair around the area in to 3 parts..........

At the number 1 the side burn they are as long as i describe them before...3 is also as long as described before now the hard part 2. The hair grow from over the ear down to my neck same as 1 shouldn't i cut it there? Cause i noticed that a lot of J-rocker cuts their hair a bit shorter at 2 so you can see their ears. Correct me if I'm wrong

It 's actually long, but pulled backwards so that you can see the ear.

Wow nice..Was thinking of coloring my hair in the same pattern as the girl in the video you showed me...Was also wondering I need to straighten my hair with an iron straightener right? (Or what you call them)

That's your decision, actually. If you want it more straight then then it is, go for it. But you are asian... and your hair is naturally straight, so you kind of don't need to. Like I said, it's your decision.

The only real reason you might need a straightner is if you let your hair grow out longer(and it gets unruly) or if you want to style it like the picture I said I like better.

Ok I've test tried getting Hirotos hair but, It's really hard anyone know what product to use? Clay? Hairspray? Mouse? Gel?

Note: I live in Sweden and don't have access to Gatsby

I'm not really sure what products are used but I want to say hairspray and wax.

To get the hair to flip out I always use a flat iron. You just take a flat iron (this is what I call it but it's actually just a hair straightener) and straighten your hair to the left or right, which ever side you want. Then you would hairspray the area. This is how my hairstylist taught me how to do it when I would flip out my bangs. I'm not sure if that's actually how his is styled but it always works for me.

I'm pretty sure wax or mousse was used to get it to stay up like that. Then after applying the wax or mousse they went over it with a flat iron.

I'm not certain on these things but by looking at the pictures I'm taking a guess. =/

Edit: I thought I would say this as well. In the last picture of Hiroto, it looks like in the back, pieces were held and hairsprayed. Then they took a comb with teeth and teased the hair where they had used hairspray. Still not sure if this is correct, just judging by the pictures.

Here's my new hair..No hair product only a hair flattener

And if you want to see the top. You also notice there are two colors one is yellowish and on the opposite side there is something brown or what you call it.

Here's a pic so you can see it up front.

So what do you guys think? If i got time I'll show a pic with hair product, but most likely not..cause I'm lazy.

And leave comment, but no mean ones...or I'll cry T_T
