But... I don't know how to track packages :/ And what kind of items will we be sending? Do we send small things like rulers and bracelets, or bigger things?
|
You can send whatever you want, as long as it fits with the theme!

Re: Apply To Be Included In The Swap Box Event!
hmm...I have a question. I dont like pink...so can I still join but state that I don't want anything pink? cuz in the rules it states:
Quote:
|
Must contain 7 items, with one item of each colour; Red, Yellow, Pink,Green,Orange,Purple and Blue.
|
can I replace it with another colour like black/grey/white?
EDIT: actually I'll just wait til the next theme...I sort of want to see how this goes.

Re: Apply To Be Included In The Swap Box Event!
Err how often/time period would we have to do send things out?
I would LOVE to do this with someone, but I unfortunately don't have any money right now.
Should I sign up anyway?

Yeah, you can just put under your preferences ''I DONT WANT PINK!!!'' lol, and your partner will not send you anything in tht colour!
just make full use of the preference and things i like part of the form

Only sign up if you are positive you wanna take part!
you sign up for each 'event' so its not like you sign up for one and have to do them all.
You would send things out a month after your partner has been given

Re: Swap Boxes! Rules and Regulations thread, and Q&A
I have a question once again
Even though it's called "Swap Boxes" do we have to ship the gifts in actual boxes or can we use the large package envelopes? Say for example: If you do not have any items with odd angles or sides, can you just mail it that way. Because if someone gets partnered with a person from a different country, I've noticed that boxes cost more because of the size and extra weight that it produces.

Re: Swap Boxes! Rules and Regulations thread, and Q&A
LOL, I think my package is gonna be all plain on the outside, because the post office here is so weird about their rules (apparently drawing on packages is a no-no) and they have NO sense of humour.
This one guy was upset that his packages kept arriving torn, signifying that someone was peeking in them. Nothing stolen, which is the weird part, but that post office had some seriously curious post officers :P
Anyways, he joked about how next time his friend from America is gonna send a bomb, and see how they're gonna like peeking at at. It was obviously NOT TRUE.
So his next package arrives 2 weeks late, with a big stamp, and several signatures, with the title CHECKED by the anti-terrorist goverment organisation.

Yeah, that'a what I basically asked lol. Haha, I can't stand carrying a large box to the post office because it's kind of a hassle.

I've actually never had that problem before. They actually have boxes for birthdays and such decorated with designs in one of the post offices in my city

Re: Swap Boxes! Rules and Regulations thread, and Q&A
awhh
well, if you ever make any transactions with any well established jammers, let me know, cos if you do a few, it won't matter too much about your postcount, ok?
