Swap Box Themes- Please vote!

Deadline for the Polling is the 7th September!

You have two votes, one of which you should use for a theme, the other you should use for a budget limit.

Remember, that this does not include post&packing.
Also remember that you may be spending money to give to someone else, but you will receive a surprise package back! So make sure you pick the amount of gifts you would like to receive!

Back to School Theme- Any adorable stationary,bags, or general things which will make going back to school, college or university much more fun and colourful.

7 Colours of the Rainbow- Must contain 7 items, with one item of each colour; Red, Yellow, Pink,Green,Orange,Purple
and Blue. Items must be cute! (They dont have to be completely red, for example, just mostly red.)

Food with Faces! - This doesnt mean you have to send actual food! Anything you can find with a food print or food themed will do! For example, Cupcake stationary, Cute fruit items!

Vintage/Retro- Think Cath Kidson, Florals, Laura Ashley style items. Homemade looking items such as simple plushies. Or retro, 60's themed, pin up girls, era themed. (just make sure if this one wins you specify with your partner what type of thing you would prefer to receive. And keep to a theme in your own box, no random pin up girl items with a floral candle for example.)

Autumn Themed- Anything that reminds you of Autumn! Could include Scarves for those cold Autumn mornings, Cute nature inspired items, anything! (Must be cute!) This would probs. be the more difficult theme, and would involve thinking 'out of the box' for a unique and special swap box!

Floral- Probably the easiest theme, although it might not be for everyone. Pick anything with a floral theme to it. Remember you could get more specific with your partner if you wanted, (e.g i want exotic flowers! Or I want traditional flowers! Or i want cute, brightly coloured flowers!)

I'm a bit confused though, I don't know much about this stuff + I haven't seen another topic about it ^^'
Just to make it clear:

We all vote on: what we send + how much it will cost.

Let's say: most votes go to:
Back to School Theme and the cheapest option.

Does this mean people have to send eachother only the schooltheme stuff + around that price? (I sound so lame)

And who has to send a package to who? XD Or do you get to chose :')

Quick question! After the first round of "Swap Boxes" are sent, are the themes rotated or are there new themes chosen for each round?

After the votes are in for the theme and the budget, and everyone has said they wanna be involved and filled in a little form which will be available, i will pair you up with someone similar to you, and you will PM them and give them your address and they will do the same!

You send your gifts to that person, and they send gifts to you.

Erm, I'm not really sure. I was thinking that if there is a theme that gets lots of votes but is only narrowly beaten we could use that the next time around. And if anyone wants to suggest a theme for the next one we can do that too

I'm from the UK and so i dont use $$ but i just thought that as everything on asiajam.com is in dollars, it would be easier for everyone to just convert the dollars into their own currency and spend that amount. Then everyone is spending the equivalent of ,say, $15.

the only thing i'm a bit worried about is that the 7 colours is winning, as is the $10-$15 and i'm thinking how am i gonna buy 7 things with $15!? lol

I guess i can include cute brand new stuff i already have, and mae a few little things

especially as everything in the uk is so expensive arrrghh

but you could have a couple of handmade things ne ,
or maybe some (good condition new) stuff you have at home
and then it could be in the budget fine? i think ? xD;;

Alright, I voted on the highest price option, and the back to school theme. I think it'd be fun. Even though I'm not a cute fan myself, I'd gladly use and accept it if it's from fellow asiajammers, you guys have such great taste. >.<

I voted for 7 Colours of the rainbow-Cute items and $10-$15

I love cute things, and with "colours" you aren't limited to something specific, and I chose "$10-$15" because I don't exactly have a job >A< but I'm willing to go up to $20 as well ;]

I voted for the seven colours of the rainbow-thingie. But, you know, I'm not that much into overly cute items. I mean, some of it is perfectly okay, but well... Hello Kitty and pink butterflies aren't really my style :/ But I liked the idea of seven differently coloured items so much! Do you think it's okay if I specify that I don't want too cute items when I write my form?
