*Whenever I watch dramas it seems the couples in the dramas are all very...uh...I don't know the specific word...innocent?
Like they're so hesitent to even be with each other. And something like holding hands is a BIG deal. And gosh...a kiss is major serious.
It strikes me odd...maybe because in American TV shows and even in everyday life...some couples can go out for one day or two and already be making out. XD

My question is....
Are real Korean couples like this?
like...are they always hesitent and innnocent?
Or is the reality that they are pretty much like American couples?

(I know this is a little random...but I've just been wondering for a whille)*

Hmm.., I don’t think I’ll try out anytime soon, since I’ll need to train for a few years just to have even a slight one-in-a-millionth chance at passing the auditions, but what do you all think? (:
Have any of you ever auditioned and been rejected or made it to becoming a trainee? If so, what advice do you have for standing out and catching the judges attention, or anything else? What is involved in being a trainee?

*The beastly idols are back!!
*

2PM...THEY'RE BACK!! ^^ Yay~ The expected release date for their 1st album is November 16!! But you can pre-order it!!! (http://www.yesasia.com/us/1021542822-0-0-0-en/info.html)

Well, I know that some of the Hottests are there are "boycotting". In case you don't know what I'm talking about, here's the info from soompi forum:

---Quote---
Hey there..... Don't know if any of you had heard that 2PM right now are recording for the next album. Not only that, they also rerecording Jay's part. So now, they have 2 versions of the songs. One with Jay in it and the other one without Jay in it.

So, why do JYPE do this? Well from what i can see is that they are 'testing' the Hottests. They want to see if the Hottests are LOYAL to jay and we will not fall for that. Why you ask? this is why:

1. If the comeback album is doing well without Jay, 2PM will go on without Jay. JYPE would NOT bring Jay back.
2. If the comeback album do not do well without Jay, JYPE will bring Jay back and 2PM will continue with Jay.

So, this is what we should do then:

Hottests to CONTINUE with the BOYCOTTS
If you can't do that, then RESPECT the BOYCOTTS and the other HOTTESTS' decisions.
This is what the KHOTTESTS going to do and I personally SUPPORT them with this.

This is a very painful thing to the HOTTESTS, it is not easy for them to do this. But this is one and only way to bring jay back to his brothers.

p.s: For those who do not believe this, suit your selves as I am not forcing anybody into this. I am here just to tell people what is really going on. As for me, I believe those who give the people this information. I believe in them. I believe this is right..
---End Quote---

So some Hottests out there are boycotting. I WAS part of it, but then I realized that I think it won't really help. Also, I can't really resist it anymore..I feel like I..MUST buy their new album, it's just too good. Of course, I miss Jay. I'm sure every Hottests out there misses Jay! Who doesn't? I mean, he's the leader, and without him, it feels like there's something missing, right? Maybe some of you still supports the boycotting..and I won't hate you for that. Boycotting is definitely legal, so there's nothing wrong with that.. But I just think that It doesn't really show our love for 2PM ♥ I totally understand if you have a different opinion, I'm not against you ^^v I miss Jay too, and really wish him to come back. But I'll still love 2PM no matter what :)

Anyway, their 1st album won't be released until next week. So be patient :P Also, here are the infos on the album ♥ ♪:

*2PM Vol. 1*
Image: http://www.allkpop.com.lg1x1.simplecdn.net/images/uploads/2009_stories/20091109_2pm1a.jpg
*
After two months of hand-wrenching drama, 2PM is making a comeback with their first full-length album. Though the future and member count of 2PM are still up in the air, Korea's favorite beast idols have persevered through the trials to return as a stronger group. 2PM's new single "Tired of Waiting" is another hit from the composer of "I Hate You". Similar in style to the group's previous hits, the strong electro and R&B number has a catchy composition and pulsating dance beats. Tracks with Jae Beom that were recorded prior to his departure are expected to be included in the album.*

**Track List-
2PM 1집

01. My Heart
02. Heartbeat
03. 기다리다 지친다
04. 너에게 미쳤었다
05. Gimme the light
06. Back 2U
07. All night long
08. Heartbeat (Red light mix)
09. 10점 만점에 10점 (10/10)

11. Again&again
12. 니가밉다 (Lounge mix)

----------
I think They look very different O_O Especially Nichkhun..he's still hawt though

*ALSO!! 2AM is also making comeback :D I don't really know the detail yet though.. But here are some infos! Credit to Allkpop.com*

---Quote---
Looks like JYP is finally serious about pushing his boy bands to the forefront. JYP Entertainment stated, "Moving forward we are going ALL IN with 2AM and 2PM. With this comeback, they will definitely make a mark and put them on the map with the other top idol groups."

2AM will be making a comeback possibly as early as mid this month, and 2PM is scheduled for an April comeback.

ALL IN huh? Good intentions, but going all in with the equivalent of a 7-2 off suit isn't exactly the smartest move. Then again, neither is saying this when I'm going to meet up with 2PM at the MTV Studios in 4 days. But it's ok, I'll take my chances with the Wonder Girls.
---End Quote---

TVXQ(DBSK) vs. S.M. Entertainment

Okay, for all of you die hard fans out there, I'm not sure whether there was a thread on the whole Yoochun, Junsu, and Jaejoong vs. SM Ent. (without Yunho and Changmin). So I just made one because recent updates on the issue surfaced, so here's the whole shindangles fo' ya:

DBSK members have financially earned close to nothing from their six years of work and almost no profit from album sales, DVD sales, television appearances, concert performances, etc. Virtually all revenue generated from DBSK products have gone straight to SM and the terms of the contracts are unfair. The members have a contract of 13 years, excluding military service and they get virtually no rest. Think "slave contracts".

Then this whole situation started to reflect on netizens complaining about how other bands under SM are also suffering:
- If DBSK gets barely profit, what about the payment split between SNSD and even worse, Super Junior?
-SHINee members are rail-thin and have to balance high-school and work at the same time (more referring to Minho and Taemin)
-S.M.'s reputation with somehow "managing to break up" some of Korea's biggest stars (H.O.T. and Shinhwa- which, started out in disagreements between the members themselves)
-Henry and Zhou Mi anti-fans who are still voicing out their opinions
-Incoming criticisms are coming in on Kangin's DUI and bar charges.

I think DBSK is an awesome band, but if they had issues regarding their contract, why didn't they voice their complaints earlier? All of a sudden it just happened. People also push all the blame onto SM. Sometimes SM is a little unfair, but they manage the biggest stars and they to accommodate them to their best abilities. SM isn't a bad company, it's just people's opinions and their bias on bands.

I'm really not on any side, I just want the whole thing to end (and end the bad year for K-Pop :( it's been a crappy one, eh?) and have DBSK perform again :flypig:
