I agree! I definitely would love to be a mod but I think mod's should have a certain amount of posts to be considered a mod. Whatever that number may be, I think it would rule me out too. lol
I'll just have to wait since I'm on here everyday. I just need time to get my posts up to the hundreds! |

I USED to be a mod on a forum except I quit my moderator job due to school...
Laura regarding your question, I suppose it depends on what sort of forum you join, this forum is really friendly and not that big in size compared to some of the bigger forums so it will be easier to manage. =]
You don't HAVE to be online 24/7 but as long as you are available when people/new joiners ask questions, you're able to answer and move threads around etc.
It was good to be a moderator though because it let's you have responsibility.

I added Mallory cause she's cool! (haha.. ) and have been very active/loyal, constantly on here (even more so than I)... and not to mention on popular demand!
but the secret reason is that she's 'really cute' in all her fancy dresses... hahaha...
BTW: i haven't seen much action on the Moderator forum, ie, not much moderation done.. is this because all asia jammers are just cool, abiding by the rule or our moderators not moderating??

Oh, btw: I generally do not offer moderator position unless you have 1000 or more posts, and are generally very, verly active here and 'friendly' and 'helpful', and so much more, lol!

hmmm well i know we've been moderating, like deleting spam and moving threads etc... i think nothing has just come up that needed to be discussed in the moderator forum. its all under control  |

sorry to open up this oldy one again.. but I had a little question..
is it true that all the moderators are located in america or canada??
last time we had a little thing going one.. and I was thinking.. would it be a good idea to have some moderators located in different parts of the world? I sometimes come online and see so much spam because of the time differents.
its just an idea ^^

hey, i think being a moderator would be pretty sweet. im on almost everyday...
but i dont know. i think a lot of people would think im too much of a jerk to be a mod. but hey, i like to speak my mind and tell it like it is.
