Yay, I'm so happy Pompom became a moderator! ^_^ If I find some spam before she finds it, I'll just run over to her and let her know!

What is the difference between a Moderator and a Super Moderator? Can a Super Moderator moderate anywhere, while a normal moderator only moderates a few sections?

I didn't had the ability to delite/block people when I was a moderator for the garage section. but now I can. maybe that is different.. or the fackt you can change people's profiles and signatures...

I don't think there's much difference if any at all. I have basically made the Moderators almost as powerful as Super Moderators. That's because normal moderators can't delete threads and can only move them and I decided that make it easier to battle spams by enabling normal moderators to do just as much.

It's more like a status thing being 'Super'... A recognizition of seniority and loyalty and love of AsiaJam...

ps: I added a few super mods (yugidogz and relax1233 and cailey) as they have been active for like 2 years already.... almost back when AsiaJam started and still going strong!

I just have one question..

As a moderator, do I just have to inform people of the rules and delete spam? How do I delete one of those boards that pops up saying "buy clothing at -insert URL here-"?

Sorry, I just wanted to know because I would like to do my job better and I don't really know what to do ^^;

if people are dong something not right you are in charge of telling them the rules.
aslo, when people are only here to spam.. you as a mod are responsable for the removing of the posts and in a case like this, banning him from the forum. (if you can do that.)

how to do it all?? check out the mods only part on the forum. =)
