notice how some of use post more or less than others? we shud have rankings like other forums or something like that, what do u guys think?

Wow! this is one of the best idea yet! can you guys suggest ranks.. ie, how many posts reaches what kind of rank?
I suggest 1st rung to be:
newbie or freshy

That's a cute idea, but repeating what was already said - you might get spammers. People who just post random things a lot to up their post count.

Ranks might make some people feel superior some times but this forum is just starting of anyways theres alot more cool stuf we could do with it.

yea cus i think that earning a title gives people more motivation to post i guess, but there is really no need for any competition because like katrina said, we're not earning anything =PP

Well, to solve the spammer problem that the forum could get,
there could be a 'report a spammer' place or whatever and
the spammer could be bant.

I find that whenever there are rankings on message boards then a lot of people will just post useless junk just to get their ranking up. ... which is really annoying. I think its fine the way it is now 8)

but i dunno, i just don't really like it. And besides it already says
how many posts you have posted, so why get a rank as well?

I'd agree with no ranks.
I've been on forums where they just post really stupid things to get their ranking/rep or whatever up.
they would judge people on their rank, and wouldn't listen if they were newbies.
and I hate competitiveness.(sp?) :x
