Since I'm black and Korean and like Asian culture people think I'm wierd.

Some people are really ignorant, this one girl asked me if I eat chinese food and friend chicken in one night??? I just stared stared at her and walked away. Also black people say I'm not black enough. I like rap and hiphop and I embrace "Arican-American culture" just as much as "Asian culture" I brush it off because I have friends and family that accept me for who I am, I'm happy with that.

OMG people do this to me all the time. Only I'm fully black and I looove Asian cultures. So people get on me alot about it.

One day for school we got to do a dress-up day, and I did dressed in a Kimono. People said soo many mean things. They say I need to act like "my own kind" and that I need to get over the fact I'm not asian. I'm like wtf..I just wanted to look cute
I just love traveling and learning about different cultures. What's wrong with that...

I get so fricking pissed off when people make fun of us Asians.
WITHOUT US, THERE WOULD BE NO YOU, DAMMMITT!!
Not all of us have small eyes and stuff -_-
Like the other day, this guy called me and my friend's yellow trash.
And we're just like,"WTF??!!?!?!??!?!!?!??"
We didn't do anything to that guy and he called us yellow.
YEAH, I'M YELLOW.
I'M PROUD, YO.

So the other day my mom was talking about how she's never liked Halloween. Me and my sister were shocked, because Halloween is FUN.
She told me and my sis(after prying it out of her), that when she was a little girl, she would dress up and go trick or treating and all the other kids would throw eggs at her and call her "dirty little indian girl"(she's native american). Nobody liked that she had brown skin, or long black hair so they constantly made fun of her for it and she didn't have a lot of friends until high school. I was like, so sad for her, but i kinda laughed too because i felt bad for her but the look on her face was kinda funny... like a little frowny face. ^-^;

Anyway..I'm so glad that I was born in this day and age. Nobody i've ever met makes "fun" of Native americans. It must have been hard for her back then. she was born in the late 50s, man she's old x.x

Hmm, I have no specific memory of being in a racist situation, but I remember one time we went to Australia for vacation, and I was mistaken for Korean.

There was another time, just last month when we went to go trekking in a mountain in our country, and there were lots of Koreans there. And they were greeting me with their language. I do not understand Korean so I just bowed a little to them haha

I remember one time when I was a kid I was playing in this playground thing that was a ladder of iron bars (dunno how it's called), and this little girl came up to me and told me that's HER place and I can't play in it, because I'm a dirty gypsy.

So my reaction was to tell her - STOP ME

She went and called her mother, and her mother actually bullied me, and told me to go away, that I was a dirty little gypsy and I had no place there.

I never felt so insulted in my life, I ran away crying. It hurt because I knew I was a bit darker then everyone else, nothing major, just that I tanned easily, and even when I wasn't tanned, I wasn't Whitey McGhost either. Even since then, every time anyone remarked upon how my skin was naturally a bit darker then theirs, I cringed.

Yeah.. i Know what you mean. It really saddens, these people visit my country treat it like dirt and treat people like worse than dirt. I think it's our fault, why the heck do we have to be so obssessed (ofcourse not us but people of our nation) with everything that's white, you know. These people watch beggars of white complexion with the greatest respect, no doubt we are treated like dirt. I am very angry and very sad about this.
