I'm a couple of races, none of them are asian though. I'm Native -Irish mix and Scotish-German mix. All 4 are equal in my blood. I look more German and a lot of people make Nazi comments.

Also, when I hear racist comments about the Native's I get really pissed off since their religion and culture play a huge part in my life. When people call us Indians I'm like "Do they come from India? No, so shut the **** up. We're natives"

Or when they call us drunkards I say to white people that it's their fault. It is, because they traded whiskey for all our goods and got the natives addicted to alcohol. That's mostly the french natives, I hardly see english natives drinking. (My moms side is all english natives, none of them drink and my step mom is french native and EVERYONE in her family drinks.)

Also, to the Canadian comment "my friend from Canada says eh all the time"

.... Canadians NEVER say eh. I only hear it from Newfies because they have a weird accent anyway.

Yeah, I`m mixed with Filipino & Indian & I`ve been targeted with the 'ching-chong-chang' one, I`ve been called 'rice' & 'curry-muncher'. They were obviously trying to be funny.

I'm Chinese, and when I moved to Australia when I was 7 I got called a wide variety of those racist comments by kids at school. These older kids at my school even had the nerve to throw rocks at our house JUST because I was different to them. (I was in grade 2 at the time) But my mom called up the principal and those kids got expelled for calling me names and doing that junk. Since I've had those comments hurled at me from that age I'm used to it, I usually just ignore it and keep walking.

I've gotten that peripheral vision thing. I actually said to her "WTF? Peripheral Vision? Are you a psycho?"

Yes....she left me alone after that.

I just started Japanese as a language at school recently. We were halfway through the first lesson, the teacher had left to go get some books when one of the girls turns around and says "Ooh, you'll ace this class since you're Japanese and all." I was like "Jeeze! You've known me for ten months and you think I'm Japanese? I'm freaking Thai!"

Then two years ago, this girl got really p-ed at me and then she came up to me, with all my friends around me and said "You are a - nasty "N" word -." We were like "Do you even know what that means?"

Really stupid! Especially irritating to play the "guess what country game, no don't tell me thailand japan china what??"

Ugh. Also, randos who come up and ask you how to count in Japanese or something. I wouldn't know, I speak Mandarin. How would they like it if we went up to them and asked them to randomly say things in German/Gaelic/French jusr cause they were WHITE?

It's just ridiculous why people act like that u.u

Like I'm going to say; "You're white. Nanana!"
Or something like that O.O
Okay, I don't mean it and I would never say that.

I went to a school where the majority of people were white people, which was about 95% (and I'm not saying white people don't ever have racist comments against them--I know they do), and there were mostly black and asians that made up the rest of the percent of the population. There weren't that many Native Indian/Indians/Middle Easterners, but my school had had some problems.

For black people, I've heard white people throw around the "n" word a lot--like it didn't mean anything to them (and I don't even like when black people call each other the n word). And one time in middle school (I was a tomboy and wore a lot of urban clothes ... I hated girly clothes but now look where I am xD), and I used to wear this brand called "FUBU", and this white boy came up to me and said that FUBU stood for "farmers used to buy us." (if you don't understand, he was refering to slaves). I really wanted to punch him for saying that...>_> I've heard other things, but they were much worse than that.

And of course, I feel really bad for asians ... people always making the "ching chong" comments, and I ALWAYS heard people saying "It's because _____ is Asian," or "Me love you long time." I really HATE that. Ugh, it's so ignorant.

And around 9/11, this Lebanese girl had put on a "Lebanese Pride" shirt to show pride for her race for some sort of cultural club thing, and she was later escorted out of the school. People had been harassing her for the time she was there, she had been threatened for her life, and people had put on her locker "TERRORIST." I know 9/11 was a hurtful time, but come on, don't automatically group everyone that are from the Middle East terrorists ... that's not true. Certainly my Uncle isn't a terrorist, just because he lives in Saudi Arabia.

What I really get annoyed at, is Hawaiian Day at school ... the school's excuse is "it's a day to have fun." I shake my head at every person wearing the coconut bra, the cheap grass skirt and cheap lei over their clothes (but of course, I understand because it's school policy). They don't even bother learning anything about Hawaii--it's nothing but "party-time" in Hawaii. And the people that have been to Hawaii just lived there--the truth is Native Hawaiians sort of look down on white people (it's because of past events in which I believe the Europeans brought disease to the islands and nearly wiped out the natives), and then of course the U.S. annexed Hawaii. But yeah ... sorry about the rant. I get perturbed at that because I actually do have Hawaiian heritage.

sorry for the long post ^^;

I haven't had anything bad said to me this year since I've been in mostly upper classes but freshman year I had to take Study Skills 1st block and I got dumb comments all time. The minute the kids found out I was German (which was like...right when I got into class since they asked where I was from and I'm pretty proud of my heritage) they were all like "Nazi!" or "Don't kill me! I'm a Jew!" Ugh! I could strangle them! That's the worst possible insult you could possibly give someone that's German! I find it SO offensive! I wish I could be more like my brother! I remember when he was in 5ht grade a kid called him a Nazi and he punched the kid! The next day, the kid's mother made him apologize! (They ended up becoming best friends in middle school XD)Whatever happened to those days? The teacher was sitting right there! Do people not realize it's insulting? Everyone is ashamed of what happened!

A few other things though~~> 1.) I don't really mind this, because I know he's joking, but one of my friends is also German and he knows what part of Germany I from (I'm from the north-western corner called Ostfriesland) and he keeps on telling me Ostfriesland jokes -_-;;; (people from Ostfriesland are thought to be dumb and have no commen scenes)

2.) This probably only happens to me but~~> I get peer pressure to like communism O_o It's because one of my friend is Russian (and very pro-Russia and therefore, makes her some-what supportive of communism for some reason) and also some of the pro-communist IB kids (my school is weird, we have a whole group of IB kids that like communism O-o) and I can never say anything bad about communism around them. The minute I do they're like "Nationalist!" "Oh, you can't blame her, she's German, her entire background is nationalism..." -_______-;;;; I'm sorry, I just don't think communism works, that's my opinion, leave me alone, ne?

3.) I hate it when kids start talking about France and how great it is…I’ve gotten sick of it. I really don’t mind the French or anything, but I’m sick and tired of people coming up to me a going “German is such an ugly language! French is so much better” “Germany sucks, France is so much better” “Who would want to go to Germany?” and they make Germany off to be some sort of dirty, disgusting country! You know, the French aren’t any better then us!! T_T It makes me sad…I love Germany, I have my national pride!!

I'm sorry this is so long O_O I'm happy I got to complain about all this though XD
What jerks! That's racism against an entire country. How can they do that? They're being racists because they hated Hitler for being a racist...how stupid is that?

German is beautiful. They have a beautiful language, which I, as a dane, was forced to learn bits and parts of during school It's also a beautiful country, I've been there countless times with my family, and my boyfriend works there...I love Germany. To me, it is part of my norse heritage. Germany is like a second native country for me, since my mothers family lives near Flensburg.

My friend said 'eh' the other day. Haha. What part of the east coast? I'm from Halifax.

Never really beed picked on but some people ask really dumb questions that you wouldn't even ask anyone. For example: 'Is it true that male Asians have small _____ (Idk if I can say it or not)' and I'm not even a guy T_T

Ah man, I HATE those. I grew up with stupid people (well, mainly boys) teasting me. I'm chinese and I'm born in Australia.
During primary school I was always teased with people pulling their eyes, saying "ching chong chang" (like wtf.. chinese doesn't sound like that..)/

I'm 23 three now and people assume I'm either Japanese or korean. I don't have their features =| I'm just a plain chinese.

I sometimes hate the position I am in because I was born in Australia. So people call be a "banana." It means, I'm white on the inside and yellow on the outside. The meaning of this is I'm white = I'm Australian cultured and yellow = I look chinese.
When I try and hang with international students, I can't because my cantonese isn't as well as theirs. Those people thinks I talk funny. So I don't fit any where

So many mean people. But there are nice people out there!

I hate racism urgghhh..and wtf..ching chang cho? I haven't really experienced racism(I'm filipino) but I've heard about the dog eating thing XD. I've had someone say to me that "ASIANS SUCK" and all. I was really annoyed and the person said that "asians think their better everyone else". A group of my filipino friends were swimming at a public pool and this woman was like "f***ing asians." I've heard things like "filipinos are ugly" or "filipinos are monkeys :c". A guy from my school was called "Nazi" or "Hitler" because he was German. The Hitler thing was stupid and ignorant. Idk where the hell they got that. It sucks that ignorant people look down on other people because of their race, skin color, how they look. I also know this one guy who was teased because he was Irish. I hate when people generalize other people because of their race. We are all equal =].

Only time I was in a dificult situation conserning my race was when the landlady of the building we used to live 3 years ago came to our apt to get the rent. I opened the door and she started talking SLOWLY LOUD & CLEAR in order to undestand her. She thought I was an Asian maid, and couldn't understand what she was saying.

I'm Filipino American, and live in California. When I was 10 years old, my family visited Utah. The trip was really nice, until this guy stuck his middle finger at my my mom and I. -_-
