Going to SKorea
So... when's the best time to go during the year?
I'm trying to save up for a trip. My mom will be coming along with me and I guess we'll be staying in Seoul instead of my birthtown.
What're some good hotels?

Awww I really want to go. Mom went without us one time ><; But.. yeah. I haven't gone recently so I guess I really can't help out with the hotels and stuff. But summer is probably best time to go. It's pretty cold in the winter I do believe? Plus summer you have more time (that is if you have school and such). My mom stayed at a friend's house when she went so I'm not so sure which hotels are good. x:

^^ I was born in Gwangju... lol... yea, I'd definitely go visit if I ever get the money. [I'll be going as a college student to most likely Yonsei University]
I'm not too worried about people staring... I just will have problems speaking to people. -_-;

I stayed in Seoul for all of July last year, and well, that was definitely not a good time to go. For most of the time it poured rain, and then once the rainy season was over it got unbearably hot. I hear that fall is the best time to go. I didn't stay in a hotel, though, so I couldn't help you with that. Good luck with the search!

The worst time is July, it rains almost every day or every other day there. I'm going next year, for three weeks. I would say April-June, winter is also not so good, it snows a lot there.

I suggest.. going during June because it's nice weather
I'm not too sure about hotels though.
