Oh, I get the Indian thing too!!
I'm half filipina and half white, pretty much. Although if we break it down, I'm like... 1/4 Spanish, 1/8 Scottish, 1/2 Filipina and some odd part Chinese... I don't know what else may be in there, but that's all I know..
It's funny because the only people who guess I'm filipina are filipinos... haha. Otherwise I get Mexican, Indian, and Colombian...
Which is okay, because I like looking different. (I live in an almost all white small town place.. tee hee) 8)

I'm just Finnish.
Or if some other, they must be from so far away..
Well, my mom had some book, and there was some swedish people from 15th century.
And then Finland was a part of Sweden, so it's a bit obvious... ^^;;

I think I'm all Persian... But I think there's some distant German great uncle. Or perhaps he's Persian and lives in Germany and married a German lady and had a half-German half-Persian kid named Fred? I have no idea. My mom tends to talk a lot and I only get about half of it.
TOO MANY FRACTIONS.
Let's just stick with all-Persian. It's easier that way. Dx

wouldn't you like to find out?
i've actually been doing a lot of ancestry work lately, it's quite interesting, to me at least
one of my friends from France said that the natives are mostly French. There are several that have part french, part german or some other western euro heritage, but she said it's a cultural thing...
as for me...i'm 99.9% western european, there's a rumor that i'm 0.1% native american, but noone has found the link yet...
when i went to Rome a couple of years ago, all the tour guides and locals (those who spoke english) kept telling me how i look just like a local, how funny!

I was thinking this through with my mum earlier actually. I'm pretty sure I'm a third Irish, a third English and a third West Indian. I don't look Irish in the slightest..or much of anything really. Just Western European.

Irish looking ness
I dont think you can look Irish, unless you go with the sort of red haired stereotype...its quite hard to find out stuff about your family in England because its such a mix, and when all the leaving-England etc ancestory people went over they must have known more about themselves which is passed down in the family...which I dont think many English people have...but these mixes are really exotic! I have a friend who is half Indian, half Irish...

Everyone tells me I look hispanic.

me too or well sometimes. its because we have whitish-asianish features which end up looking like a hispanic look. its also a plus if you took your asian parent's side and have tan skin. lol i have yellow-white [it's like a light shade of yellow but not white] and i tan easily but my tans go away quickly. plus, our hair color and eye color. it all gives us a hispanic appearance when really we arent. lmao i use to tell people that i dont have ANY spanish in me. lmao that always get them. and then they resort to white? but mixed with something. but you see... that all was when i was youngger
now people are just like... you look like you're mixed. you see people either say that or for people who dont see very many big lided asians and mixed asians, they mistake us for white or hispanic when we really arent. it bothers me a bit.
