I'm Persian, woo. =P

We have some...rather...risque dancing if you're not really in tune with the culture. But to us it's all in good fun, normal, family time dancing like a fool stuff! x'P

I very much enjoyed myself at a wedding for some random distant relative when I was younger. I danced the entire time the floor was open. This was like...several hours... I like died. But it was so much fun. =P

Eh, sorry if I don't make any sense today. I've been looking up various research questions on the Odyssey, which really goes right over my head anyway.... x.x

Brazilian here... you probably heard of samba! o_o
Samba used to be beautiful, and it still is in Carnaval (which I think you also heard about o.O) but it quite a sad situation right now... it became really very sexual. It's almost depressive.

Samba music was a sort of thanks for all the natural beauties we have here, like the beaches, the trees, the hills, and all the landscape, and the dance was mix of african and portuguese dances, with fast feet movements and what we call "gingado", the body movement. But now it's a lot about shaking... in a very promiscuous way. The music lyrics also changed, and now follow that same sexual line.
Pretty much trash.

Except for Carnaval samba, which is still like it used to be! ^_^ The "Escolas de Samba" (litteraly "Samba Schools") always make a amazing job, that everyone should see!

i used to do traditional korean dance (with fans and wearing hanboks) when i was really little. o_____o

i did it at this korean school i went to on saturdays so i could learn korean better and i had to do an afterschool activity so i picked dance. i don't really remember how to do it, i just remember we did the craziest warm ups and that my teachers didn't really care if i screwed up because i was like the youngest person there... so often i was in my own little corner doing something totally random. n_____n

i also did modern, jazz and hip hop last year.
