Around here(Perth), there's not much local dances. You'll most likely find clubs that teaches good old swing and stuff like that. Salsa... yeah you can take salsa lessons almost everywhere here :P ... i never tried though. i'm a real chicken when it comes to skilled dances haha.

I actually took up classical dance classes for 1 whole year!!
Believe it or not!!
Learned nothing though... can't remember any of the moves anymore...
you don't use it, you lose it, i guess!

hey, i'm filipino too (living in the US). i've heard/seen the otso otso and the pamela 1 stuff...i found it pretty funny ;p i also think traditional filipino dances are cool,haha

I'm half Filipina, I didn't know of any cultural dances but I've seen my mum and her friends dancing at parties. Hahaha. HowlingGroupie!! I used to live in Perth, wow, so good to see an Australian here.

i'm canadian, half filipina... i've learnt some traditional filipino dance stuff, like the tinikling... but there's not really any particular dance in canada. we mostly copy from music videos.

i can skank though, but that's not really dancing
in my opinion. my friend and i actually introduced
skanking into my school, and everyone thought
we were raving lunatics. ^_^
