Rain May Sing Olympic Theme

I wasn't sure where to post it, in the Chinese Chat or Korean chat so I decided to post it here..

so I just read that
Singer Rain may sing the theme song for this year's Beijing Olympics.

What do you think about it??

I don't really know what I should think about it.. well I like/liked rain a lot.. and it's an honour to sing at the theme song at the Olympics, but shouln't they choose a Chinese artist?

I think its just a rumour and also i read something that if it was true Rain turned it down!!

I agree. Even though Rain is all awesome and stuff...o_o; It's the Olympics in CHINA...How often does THAT come along? I'd like it if a Chinese singer sang.

in regards to jay chou i heard somewhere that they wouldnt picksomeone like him as hes from taiwan?? but then again i could be wrong

Well, he IS SUPER popular all over Asia right now... so I'm sure the girls wouldn't mind

But since it is in Beijing, I'm sure they'd appreciate it more if a local did the theme song.
