Learn Spanish Thread! :'D
I thought I'd make a thread where we all can practice our Spanish, since I know most people take Spanish Class as an elective and don't use it regularly like we should. I'm personally not a big fan of the language, but I know it is the 2nd most spoken language in the world, so knowing it is helpful. ^^;
Remember everyone! Making mistakes is okay, that's how you learn. <3
So make sure to correct/help me if I mess up and I'll do the same! :'D

Oh! Cool! There's a lot of Spanish-speakers that come into my workplace, and I'd love to be able to say something to them! One of the girls that works there speaks spanish, and I think it's so cool xD;
I actually can't think of any phrases though.. argh. Can you share some basics for a nub? '=)

Sure, I'm in Spanish 2 ( for the second time, they have a new book so I have to relearn some stuff ;__; ) so I guess I know atleast some of the basics. xD
Here's some random stuff that came to mind:
*Me llamo ____ - My name is ____ - literally: I am called ___
~(another way to say your name to someone) Mi nombre es ______
*¿Como te llamas? -What is your name?
*¡Tengo hambre! - I am hungry - literally: I have hunger!
*¡Me gusta comer las papas fritas! - I like to eat french fries!
*¿Donde está mi lapìz? - Where is my pencil?
*¿Qual es la fetcha de hoy? - What is the date today?
*¿Què dìa es hoy - What day is it today?
*¿Què te duele? - What hurts you?
*¡Me duele la cabeza! - My head hurts!

Hola! Es una idea muy bien. Puedo hablar un poco de espanol ahora, pero necesito practicar. Yo esta en la clase de espanol uno, pero es el segundo ano tomo espanol.

Necesito practicar mi español mucho tambien, mi español es muy mal! xD
[EDIT] Oh yea, for "idea" you mean "ideal"...I think that's how you spell it....>w<
Also you should have wrote "Yo estoy" not "Yo està" 'cause "esta" is for "el/ella/usted" not "yo". :3
Other than that....muy bien!

Is confused, how are you in spanish one still if it's your second year taking it?? (yeah, it should be estoy)
YAH, I'm in spanish 2 as well, it's TOO easy. No necesito practicar porque es en mi sangre.  |

Well, I retock Spanish 2 'cause I took it in middle school and am doing it again for Highschool since I heard it's better to retake 2 'cause Spanish 3 is HARD! So it might be the same reason she's retaking Spanish 1....

We do 2 years of Spanish 1 at my school... or you can just do one (but then you have to do 2 years of another language's first level). I guess they think kids needed to get the foundations down really well. It's weird but just one year of the other Spanish levels. |

¿Por que quieres visitar xP? Esta muy fria ahora (en el invierno) y nieve mucho. Y cuando nieve, no puedes salir tu casa porque no puedes usar las calles.

I meant to ask "what's the lowest temperature it gets to in Florida?" but of course I can't really say that xP. I fail at life... or at least at Spanish.

Hola muchachas. Estoy en mi trecero ano de espanol. Yo se habla espanol muy bein porque soy dominicana y puertorriquena, pero no puedo escribirlo mucho O_o.
Espanol es facil para aprender =]
(estoy perezosa porque no puse los acentos).
