Online shop(ping) - introduction and some questions for you!

Hi,

My name is Morena, 20 years old, law student in the Netherlands and I run an online shop in jewelry and fashion accessories. My shop has been doing very well in the Netherlands but now I would like to expand, so I have translated my website in English (and Italian if there are any Italian people here). The translations are done by me so it's possible that you might find some errors

I would love to hear from you if you shop regularly online and if so, where do you shop? Ebay, or only online shops that are located in your own country? More clothing or also jewelry and accessories? Do you feel insecure about ordering overseas? If so, what would make you feel safe about ordering from online shops in a far away country. Paypal perhaps?

Of course, I would like to know what you thinks of the website itself (lay out, products, pricing, etc); [Link removed]

the web site is really nice, cute design and very clear. Also I like the items!

I use to buy more in my country but if I find anything that I like so much, I can buy overseas. I only pay by Paypal because it's safer than other methods, and I like to buy cute items like purses, bags, school matterial, jewelry and accesories.
One of my favorite shops is kawaiiGifts (http://www.kawaiigifts.com/) and eBay.

in what way do you think paypal is safer than other methods? (say wire transfer) Because I think many people fear paying through wire transfer because they fear they will lose their money if the shop is non trustworthy, but, correct me if i'm wrong, paypal only offers protection for things bought on ebay, so if a website is a scam, it doesn't really matter if you paid through paypal or some other way... (I do accept paypal, but it's just something I am curious about)

general question to everyone; how do you decide if a website is trustworthy? for instance, i have a guestbook where people can leave their feedback and I've put all media appearances on the website. For (new) customers in the Netherlands this is enough and they go ahead and order, also because they might have already heard of the shop from some one, but would this be enough for you if you were planning on buying on the website? Because you could use google but you would not find any english results yet, so basically the info on my website is all you have. would you buy?
