Please read this post before replying. There is some rules you should know, so please read it. ^^

I want to start this again, because simply it was such a helpful thread!
and nobody else started it yet.
I will definitely keep this first post updated always when new reviews come.

So the idea is, if you bought from a wholesale site, please post a review about it! It will help others to decide if they want to buy from that site.

Wholesale site means website that sells clothes for cheap prices. Clothes are cheap because these sites sell mostly to resellers. So most of these sites have either minimum quantity or minimum money spent -limits.
But even if the site doesn't have any minimum limit, but sells similar clothes than other wholesale sites for cheap price, it can be posted.

I will collect here in the first post the main positive and negative points of any wholesale sites. I'll try to keep it simple so it's easy to read... Next to the shop name will be links to all reviews of that particular shop.
If there is a wholesale site that hasn't been listed in this post, it means they haven't yet got any reviews.


RULES read before posting, thank you.

- Post a review only AFTER you received your order. Not when you make an order, but after you received it only.
- Try to avoid unnecessary posts in general, so this thread wouldn't become too crowded.
- Advertisements and spam will be deleted. Don't bother posting them.
- Please make sure you made at least 5 posts before posting a review here.
- If you have a general question about certain shop, for example about their shipping, payment methods etc, ask it from the shop, not here! Most shops have "contact us" page. People here are not the shop owners!
- Don't ask questions that have been answered already. Read all the reviews about the shop you're interested in before posting.
- Use the standard review format when posting a review.
- All the posts that break these rules will be deleted.
- I might add more rules if necessary.


Good review
- If possible, include pictures from the wholesale site + picture you took of the items.
- Use the standard review format below:

I ordered only one item, because it seemed suspicious to me that they have free shipping and no minimum order.. But I got my item and I'm happy about it.

Here is the picture from the site and picture I took:



* Quality: Good (but i only ordered one item..). Size looks different in the pictures but in reality I'm size L to XL so the size is as it was described.
* Shipping: Free! But it took about a month to arrive.
* Price: It cost $15. Quite expensive compared to other wholesale sites.. but after all, the shipping was free.
* Customer service: Didn't seem to speak English well, they didn't answer my question properly.
* Returns/exchanges: I didn't have any
* Do items have tags/labels attached: Yes
* Would you buy from them again?: Yes
* Anything else we should know?: Prices in the site are in Hong Kong dollars, not USD.

Oh what a great thread!
I've bought loads of stuff from yiyipf and took pictures of it for my blog(I'm actually still not done taking pictures of everything).
Some of the stuff I bought:

Shipping
It took a couple of days to process my order and when it was shipped it only took a week to arrive.
Shipping cost was €33.60 (for 11 items).
Price:
Can't remember how much every piece cost, but the total for 11 items was €52.66, + €33.60 for shipping + paypal fees (€3.45) = €89.71
Customer Service:
I was happy with the customer service. Even though they don't know perfect english. I was not sure if they had the right adress so I sent an email about that to confirm my adress and I got an email back pretty quick that it was the right adress.

It's almost exactly the same as in the store picture. Only different is the bow, it's not as perfect. But it still looks nice.
Overall:
I'm very happy with the things I got. I think you really can get a lot good quality clothes for a very cheap price. I'm definately going to order clothes from yiyipf again!

Could you also say if the clothes come with tags and labels
(sometimes the one with labels are sliiiightly better than the ones without - exception is always there but you know..)

Yep :] AFW and wlsle2009 are sister companies. I emailed AFW about it and they confirmed it for me.

I'm happy people like this thread again! And don't seem to be too afraid of all the rules... but I think it's better this way - so no one will be fooled by spams (hopefully).
Btw, if you had posted review in the old thread, you're very welcome to post them here again! if you still have the pics & remember how it went.
Of course pictures aren't required.. But it helps a lot. ^^

Dear Roosa,

Just a suggestion: I think the 'Good Review' criteria (website photos of the clothes + pics of the actual item when received) should be made as a rule. I remember back in the old thread, there were many people just announcing, "hey i placed an order today!!! i bought [this] [this] [this]. can't wait for it to arrive! will let you know when i receive the items!". I think those type of entries should be avoided in a REVIEW thread.

Of course, members can also make text-only reviews, that's no problem. Just announcements of them making a purchase should be avoided. Those should belong in the 'Shopping Diary' section.

Another point is, I think you should write the rules of this thread clearly in point format. Like,

RULES OF THIS THREAD
1. blah blah
2. blah blah
3. blah blah

This makes it easier, clearer and faster to read.

Another suggestion is, in the rules, reviews should have a standard format. For example, all reviewers are required to answer standard questions like,

1. Did the actual item you received match the shop's photo?
2. Are you satisfied with the quality of the clothes?
3. How long did shipping take?
4. Are you satisfied with their customer service?
5. Were the prices reasonable?
6. Would you return to shop there again?

I second this. I think a general format such as what you suggested, which all reviews could abide by, is really essential to get keep this thread on track.

Even something like;
Quality:
[- person writes about quality -]
Shipping cost:
[ - " " " cost of shipping - ]
Price:
[ - " " " the price of items, either satisfied or not - ]
Customer Service:
[ - " " " customer service - ]
Pictures:
[ - If able, show comparison photos. - ]
Overall:
[ - Are you happy with the items? Would you shop there again? A rating out of 5. - ]

Instead of direct questions, general statements where you can elaborate.
Bolded text is good to get peoples attention too.

I've shopped at dressky twice, so I thought I'd review.

Quality: The quality is mixed, but generally not brilliant. This is because many of the items are copies of clothes by other companies or of those in magazines. Material is usually cheap and many items had loose threads. Some had tags and most have labels but some didn't.

Shipping cost: Almost the same as that of the items each time, though I made sure to get the most out of my money (they work it out per 500g). Shipping was also quick to Britian, and no extra fees when the stuff got here.

Price: Items themselves cheap, only a few dollars each. Even with shipping included each item averaged at £8 each, which is cheap.

Customer Service: In my experience pretty good, but only had to talk to them about out of stock items which has happened for 3 items I've tried to buy.

A few items have looked different from the pictures given and measurements given aren't always accurate, but generally have been.

Overall: I would order again if there was an item I really wanted, but wouldn't make orders of this size again (even though the site says there is a minimum order, there isn't!). I haven't worn many of the items, this is partially due to bad quality but mostly because I'm not supposed to buy stuff atm! Annoyed at inaccuracies but ordinary tshirts seem the safest bet here. I would give them a 3/5 because they are cheap and the designs are cute even if not the best quality.
