For the people who ask for visual kei hair...

1. Ask for hair to be cut with razor blade
Not the shaving razor btw.
This gives the 'sharp' edge to your hair and thins it out greatly.
2. Straighten
Sorry to curly haired people but most is straight hairstyle.
If your hair is curly it should be asian style curl which is like lolita-esque
but normally this will be paired with a straight front.
e.g Ruki ( The GazettE ), Satoshi ( Girugamesh ).
Even if your hair is naturally straight use a hair straightener.
3. Fringes
Side fringes that cover one eye e.g Miyavi, Aoi ( The GazettE ) , Kanon ( Ancafe )
Normal style e.g: Shou ( Alice Nine ), Miku ( Ancafe )
Long side part e.g Uruha ( The Gazette ), Chiyu and Masato and Takeru Yuji ( SuG )
Long middle part e.g Shiyuu ( Serial Number ), Tatsuha ( Bergerac )
Gradual length e.g Bou ( ex Ancafe ), Takumi ( ex Panic Channel ), Ryuuto ( Teddy )
Try not to part your hair too far to the edge
4. Layers
Most of the vk hair is the same except for the fringe. It is just layers, thinned and razor cut then teased and hairsprayed. The layers give the sharp spikes.
5. Clean hair!
Make sure your hair is free of oil!!!!!!!!!!

Jrock hairstyles remind me a lot of final fantasy, I'm not a fan of those games.
some of the hairstyles are really cool! i liked the ones of the two guys with the guitars. Their hair was the best!

Both this hairstyle is similar to your length
You will need to ask for layers using razor cut.
If you want a fringe that covers one eye, like in your photo e.g Aoi, Miyavi etc you will have to make them thin it out and cut the edges with the blade aswell.

To style, use a hair straightener and straighten each part of hair in small sections. If you like the Yumehito ( second photo ) look you just flip it out at the end.
Use some hairspray on the top of both sides and the back. Then put in your fingers and gently fluff it up.
For it to be more vk take the hairsprayed sides and back and tease it up.

The pink top is mine though. (It was very pretty and cheap btw).

We are twins except he's got that weird mole thing next to his nose.
So yeah...i could say that its meeeeee.

I know it is very hard to look at his hair
( courtesy of moi with NO HAIR STRAIGHTENER!Man it was hard. )
But I think in the second photo you will see his hair is teased.
Just to show what I mean because Ive seen some people go psychoasdckjhabwukcgbjh k.o overkill when they tease and have this chunk of thing on there head (￣～￣)ξ.
And I'm not meaning old vk.

Make sure your hair is brushed so you don't end up teasing this felt fabric-esque thing.,( ﾟдﾟ lll )､
