i don't really have a style icon as such because i try and be unique and mix and match styles rather than follow one trend religiously. i love clothes from all saints ( www.allsaints.co.uk) and i'm totally in love with the whole vintage 50's look that dita von teese has. but on a normal day to day basis i like what rachel bilson (summer from the o.c) wears. she's so pretty and i love how she puts her clothes together. but what really bugs me is that most celebs actually have no input in what they wear and its all chosen by their stylists, i think its unfair how the stylists don't get credit for their hard work.

i like scarlet johansen too, cos she's quite curvy and knows what to wear to suit her figure rather than starving herself to fit into skinny jeans.

I'm not sure... I like so many But I think I dress a bit like a mix between Gwen Stefani and Kate Beckinsale.

Well since I'm actually forbidden to wear anything "abnormal" as my parents put it (>.>'), I don't really have a particular style. I'm kinda forced to wear t-shirts and jeans all the freaking time.
But if and when (like 2 and half years 'til I'm 18 and they're out of my hair!) I can actually dress the way I want, I'll probably look somewhat like a cross between Miyavi and a Harajuku girl. x'D

Ah, that sucks. . . ~_~ I really don't see a point in banning clothes, as longs as they're not inappropriate.. Since, hey, being a teenager is a time to explore. =x

there is nothing wrong with having a fashion idol but mostly i just wish people would be creative. i mean come on, create yourself and do not go so crazy after someone else's look. :]

Having a fashion idol doesn’t necessarily means that one dresses exactly like that person? It’s possible to admire someone or someone’s sense of style without becoming their clone. I dress absolutely nothing like any of my “fashion idols” (actually, most of their outfits I wouldn’t even want to be caught dead in. They wouldn’t suit me one bit). You can appreciate someone’s else’s style and still be creative! A fashion idol can be a source of inspiration, too. Which doesn't have to be the same thing as copying them all over.
