isamantha- Fashion wise:
Originated in Japan, it is largely inspired by Victorian children's clothing and the elaborate costumes of the Rococo period. Other influences include the western gothic and punk fashions.
The name is is a reference to Vladimir Nabokov's famous novel, and Lolita is often worn by teens, followers of the style do not consider it overtly sexual. In fact, in Japan many of them were unaware of the connection to the book until it was introduced to them in the Gothic & Lolita Bible as a suggested read. Instead, adherents present themselves as children or baby dolls and consider it necessary to look "cute," "beautiful," or "elegant" rather than "sexy."
Here is a little lolita handbook too!
There is a lot of infomation about it around :3

Hello !
Wow, we're very happy our online shop has been written in here. We hope you all like our products.
However, we'd like to make an announcement: "Magnifique" exists for one year now. And of course this event has to be celebrated: you get a 15 % discount on the products on all orders between 29th of Semptember and 12th of October 2007 !
For more information please feel free to visit our webshop: www.magnifique-lolita.com.
Of course we're still happy to receive feedback via email or as a guestbook entry on our page.
Yours
Magnifique-Team

Magnifique- Oh wow, thats awesome!
n_n Congrats!
I'm definatly looking at stuff now!
Speaking of sales,
Rakuen
recently had a 1-year sale,
where everything was a lowered price and came with a free petticoat and headress.
I bought one myself and love it!
Now it seems they are keeping the sale as a normal thing!! n__n
also Cosmates
Has a halloween sale going on too!

I would recommend to buy the items directly from Bodyline using Celga or MAI as a shipping/shopping service ^__^!
Cosmates is so overpriced and they just sell the items from Bodyline >_>...

cosmates is there.
I don't like cosmates (ordered from them myself)
but some might~

Also, You can get Lolita brand clothing for a less expensive price through egl_comm_sales it is linked directly from EGL's Livejournal community. It tends to be second hand but it is a way less expensive way to buy "brand" clothing if your really into lolita. They also don't just sell clothes. They also sell shoes and acessory things.
