I was out shopping yesterday and I saw these jean shorts with gold chain suspenders. (I'll try and find a picture, but for now, you're just going to have to imagine.)

I LOVE suspenders!!! ^o^ I have two pairs... Some black ones, and some black with white skulls on... I wear them like this

I personally don't like them at all - they make people look really weird... But some dungarees are okay, I guess.

I think they can look cool on other people but not me..
Or if I'd ever try, I'd wear them in that 'real' way. I think other ways look kind of weird. But that real way would be kind of weird too..

Suspenders and overalls are wayyy "in" in Japan right now! I just came back from Tokyo and everryyonne was wearing them! Usually they were just hanging down from the jeans/shorts and with overalls, they'd leave one of the straps undone. They looked super cute, on the girls in Tokyo anyway! I bought a pair of jeans there actually *will be posting pictures* that have attached suspender straps :3 I plan to wear them with the straps just hanging down probably.
I can see how they'd easily look tacky and overdone though! They also look very awkward on girls who are a bit 'busty' when the straps are actually worn up.. The gold chain ones you mentioned do not sound cute at all D:

I like suspenders generally.
It depends though, on how they're worn and what they're worn with.
And how they look in the first place. XD
They can be very cute in certain ways, but completely tacky in others.
I wouldn't say they were "outdated".

Love suspenders, i wear my suspenders down (with shorts if its not attached to them) , But if there is suspenders attached to my clothing i wear it up, i only have one though xD

Some suspenders on younger people look hot, but I once saw this girl at my school with them and they kinda 'cupped' her butt and it wasn't attractive at all. lol, get them in a good size with you have them hang from your waist.

It's entirely possible to make them look very modern and classy. In fact, my friend wears them and she looks great!

I have jeans with light brown suspenders attached to them and I have some blak suspenders with white stripes, I generally wear them hanging down :3

depending on the person (body shape, size, specific style) and how they wear it. Suspenders can vary from looking cute and sophisticated to just tacky and ugly. So really it depends personally i dont mind them as long as whoever wears them, wears them with style but i ahve never tried them on myself. maybe i should and see.

I love suspenders! I've one pair red with white polkadots ,, and I wear them
with just a basic red top. But sometimes when I wear them people says ;
'Oh, my grandpa wears suspenders too' And then I'm like; OK..
But yeah.. I like them
