I like cosplaying, and I like styling wigs~ My favourite character to cosplay as is Lain, I want to make all her clothes! I wish I had the courage to go to more conventions, but I don't, there's so many scary people. My sister likes cons though, but she refuses to wear a wig so I can't style any for her, gah.
One day, I want to go as Raging Assassin from Suikoden V. Raawwrr.

I'll be heading to Anime North this May as Talim from Soul Calibur 3.
My friend is a costume designer and she's custom making the outfit for me.
I'm intensly looking forward to this convention. ^-^

I go to the anime convention in Denver, CO every year (for two years now), and I cosplay every time. The first time I went as Subaru Sumeragi from Tokyo Babylon. The second time I went as Raito Yagami from Death Note and bunny Toshiya from the j-rock band Dir en Grey. I was quite sad that only one person recognized me. xDD Most people thought I was a slutty bunny girl.
I have a tendency to cosplay only as boys, but this year (in September) I'm going to cosplay as a girl for the first time. And she's a really, really cutesy and perky girl: Misa Amane from Death Note. I'm very excited about it but I'm worried if I can be in-character or not. I'll also be cosplaying as L, Near, and possibly Matto from the same series. I love cons so much! It's so flattering when you get commented on your costume that you worked hard on, and it's a lot of fun to see all the other cosplayers. Unfortunately, I'm so socially anxious I haven't made any friends yet and I often have emotional breakdowns during the con. But I still try to make the best of it!
I'll come back to this thread when I have some pictures. Right now, I don't have any pics of myself in-costume.

I've never cosplayed any anime characters before, but I've always wanted to! However it would be kinda random, since I'll never be able to get to any conventions, I can't sew or work a sewing machine for my life, and I don't want to dole out hundreds for a custom costume --- Or worse, buy a badly made cheap one. @__@
I do have a favourite cosplayer though! Her's name's Angel, and she's beautiful and highly talented, and I admire her and her skills greatly. I wish I were her prettyyyyyy often. xD; ((Yes, I'm creepy. >_>' But she's just so darling and sweet --- Not to mention skinny! Luckyyy. TT_TT))

Wooo I've been to Anime North two years in a row but this year we aren't going because of the new passport policy. Instead we're going to Anime Central in Chicago!
I'm in a Kingdom Hearts cosplay group with an Axel, Sora, and Riku.
We are also going to be Death Note Characters. I'm Misa and there's an L and light.

She's so adorable, she deserves being cosplayed more! Going as Raging Assassin would be crazy awesome, I'll totally copy that creepy way they move, walk around like that all weekend, and possibly scare people. I'm very enthusiastic about it!
Suikoden is so much fun, collecting all those characters like pokémons ^^
And Suikoden 1 has Diet Kenshin <3

I wear cosplay as everyday clothes.
Examples: Wearing Jounin vests to school, Naruto headbands, the shoes.
People already know I'm an anime freak so it desn't faze most people. Most.

That's so awesome XD. Impressive list~ I have a few cosplays I'd really like to do...no dream cosplay yet tho. I LOVE cosplaying. It's way too fun of a hobby, and the convention-life is AWESOME~ I can't wait til I'm older with job/moneys to go farther and attend more cons, and of course sew more costumes!!! XDDD~

mmmm ive been watching death note on youtube and i kinda want to cosplay misa now : D i think shed be more fun to cosplay than miwako for me because i wouldnt have to dye my hair/buy a wig and id just buy an outfit from refuse to be usual that i could wear as everyday wear as well.

My first convention ever was Otakon last year and I didn't cosplay. However, seems I'm being forced by my friends to cosplay as Takuto from Full Moon this year. I may or may not attempt it, depending on lots of things. I am excited to possibly make my first costume ever though. =D

I cosplayed last week in a comic convention in my city, i was Nana and my sister Hachi, from Ai Yazawa's Nana manga. I wear a black tank, scottish pleated skirt, torn stockings and boots and my sister a lovely pink dress with a flower in her hair, she also wear puppy ears and tail and strap, hahaha (if u have read the manga, you'll understand it). when i get the photos i'll show them to you ^^
