It's strongly suggested that people get their eyes checked before buying them. Even regular lenses have this risk if the proper precautions are not taken.

Re: Circle Lens?
for everyone with light coloured eyes (such as blue like mine)~
that's me wearing angel violet circle lens
you can see a little blue around the pupil, but it's not really cognizeable. it depends on how bright it is around you. if it's more dark you won't see any blue anymore.

Re: Circle Lens?
Oh, now I know what Laura meant about the pupil area's appearance.
Looks nice on you The limbal ring really makes the iris look bigger and the over all effect more striking.

Re: Circle Lens?
@demoi: yeah it looks so cute when the iris is bigger! like a baby or something like that <3
@laura: but if you see it like this, it's better because it doesn't narrow your field of vision too much, so you see better :D

Re: Circle Lens?
I'm not sure if I've already posted this but http://www.secreteyes.org/ has a wide selection of circle-lens , plus they have some pretty good feedback from the costumers
I've been meaning to buy from them .. but I got lazy & got mine from my local pharmacy XD, I have a pair in blue & grey ^^

(Damn I thought I had a picture of my blue pair ;A; )

Re: Circle Lens?
I want lenses But I'm scared of like the whole contact idea. Do they hurt when you put them in and take them out? do you feel it?

Re: Circle Lens?
Well sometimes it does hurt when I put them in - but when I shake the lens abit when it's in my eye it's much more comfortable , I think because it get's rid of dust or whatever gets onto the lense .
You just gotta make sure you clean them properly when you take them out , but also that your hands are clean when you put them in your eye .
Taking out the lenses is actually not that bad - it's seriously more easier to take them out than put them in .
Oh & I don't feel like I'm wearing lenses at all when I go out ^^

Re: Circle Lens?
@ kat - Your local pharmacy carries circle lenses, not just regular contacts?! You're so lucky! *jealous*
@ Kawaii - It takes some getting used to if you've just started wearing them. Some new users experience a little irritation because they can feel something's in their eyes. If you place them in and take them out properly, it doesn't (and I suppose, shouldn't) hurt.

Re: Circle Lens?
I've wanted to purchase circle lenses for a long time now (darn my small irises, haha) but I'm wondering, if you've never worn contacts before is it recommended that you should visit an optromitist and get fitted for them just for saftey reasons, especially if you are ordering them from online?
I'm so impatient but I would be scared to just buy them and attempt to put them in. I'm pretty sure I have mild astigmatism too. How much does it cost to get fitted?

Re: Circle Lens?
you should definetely visit the optician first in case there's something wrong or you don't feel comfotrable wearing them.
When I went for the first time, they checked my eyesight and everything, then I got a free sample of lenses I should wear some days and come back to check if everything was OK. Then I even got to try out some new lenses you can wear longer because one of my eyes was a bit too dry, so I got another free sample of lenses, yayy <3
if you do this procedure and then at the final check when he asks you if you'd like to order some for you, you could just say you have no money atm because something happened, and then never come back! haha that should work

Re: Circle Lens?
circlelens2u is a very good website, realiable n everything.
BUT- circle lens are not like normal contact lens as normal ones are smaller, and softer if you get daily disposibles.
circle lens are bigger so its more difficult for your eyes to breath. Circle lens will hurt your eyes after a long period of time. Mine hurt after about 3 hours...and get irritated. they are less soft than my usual normal contact lens.

Re: Circle Lens?
I've been interested in circle lenses for a while, but I'm not sure how well they look on... er.. non-asian eyes (for example, like mirukus)
Does anyone have pictures of non-asians with circle lenses?
I'd also be worried about this happening ><
Where you see the original eye color, I've seen pictures like this and think it looks really bad if it's very noticeable, but I suppose I'd just have to get some similar to my eye color to avoid this happening

Re: Circle Lens?
^what eye colour do you have? I have blue eyes and ir doesn't look too bad as you saw on my picture :3
I also have a pair of black ones that don't look so good, but the purple ones are really nice!
you should take coloured ones because their "pupil-hole" is smaller and the brown eyes aren't that important anymore.

I have hazel eyes, so I suppose that allows for more options like brown and green and gray, but yeah yours do look nice ^^
I like the way black ones look, but maybe they only look good if you've got darker eyes, or have a pair where the 'pupil hole' is small?
