Re: starting an online shop?
Eh.. They can be sold in the 'Garage Sale' section here, I beleive.
Also www.etsy.com is a place where you can have a a little DIY store of your own, along with lots of other people.

Re: starting an online shop?
Well the 'Garage Sale' section wouldn't work because im pretty sure you can only sell things that you bought from somewhere.
I agree with esty, I have bought lots on there from sellers. You could start a blogspot or livejournal. I know livejournal has tons of communitys you can join that you can advertise your work on.
Also, hmm, you could do ebay, but I wouldn't really start out on there personally. On because you might not get that much response if you don't advertise much.
A DeviantART or Sheezy art account would work, you could take commissons on there.

Re: starting an online shop?
do you all know any blogspot shop sites? I am trying to start a shop on blogspot but so far, it seems like the only people that sell on blogspot are in singapore. Do you all know of any American-based shops on blogspot? I need advice...as to how it works. e.g would i have to pay tax, go through some sort of registration as a seller, etc. Those kinds of things. Please let me know if you know. thanks a bunch!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I remembered reading an article in a magazine and they had this girl who sold the clothes that she made on Myspace. (Not exactly a big Myspace fan but still).
And luck with your shop.

Re: Starting an online shop?
try opening a blogshop on blogger.com, or etsy.com (i had my first shop there - they are only for handmade stuff though) , you can open an Ebay store too ( i have tried) but in the end having your own independent space if the best ioption. I have moved to my own website online shop and start selling, so it looks more proffessional, and ppl are afraid of scam when they order from personal blogs and stuff like that too...
