Yes, EVERYONE in Norway wears/used to wear outfits like that. Like, with the belt and bag as well.

2. Guys that wear trousers practically round their ankles with the bum on show. Trousers are meant to cover your pants not put them on show!

The other day i saw a girl wear a cotton skirt, (one of those short, cheap fabric kinds) with black woven legwarmers and flip flops, && she wore a black t-shirt. &&& iono it just seemed odd, like, that trend was played out lonnngg ago.

But i respect everyone's own kind of personal style, it reflects who they are,
so i tolerate all kinds of outfits and fashion choices.

CROCS. I hate them. They are so ugly and when I see them, I cringe. I'm like the only person in my town that doesn't have that terrible excuse for a "shoe".

LONG JEAN SKIRTS. You know those jean skirts old people wear that go down to their ankles? That kills me! It makes them look like a box on their lower half.

I don't understand the appeal in them.

I tend to hate a lot of fashion but that's not necessarily because of the fashion itself, I just get bored of seeing it and it looks like a uniform. Sometimes when something goes out of fashion I start to kinda like it cause I haven't been so overloaded by it

personally .. i totally love her style .. she looks great everytime she goes out .. she doesn't try to dress like a harajuku girl .. they were just an inspiration to her and she loved thier style ..

Actually that's a good point. I love Harajuku fashion and I also quite like her brand, but her brand isn't Harajuku-ish enough... it's just slightly off mainstream

A lot of people complain about how she got all these Japanese girls and said she was bringing Asians into the limelight, but then they're just like her dolls/slaves so it's portraying them as being inferior... but I mean, come on - it's her show. Doesn't matter who else she gets, they're going to be her BACKUP dancers. She's not saying they're inferior, just that their job is to be her backup dancers!!

I agree sooo much with this. I mean, it would have been awesome if she loved harajuku fashion/wore that kind of style herself and made a brand with clothes that actually looked like it so that people outside Japan could more easily wear Harajuku style outfits. But those disgustingly bad drawn chibi drawings and the logo with the name that actually disgusts me as well. I mean, the point is originality. NONE of the real harajuku girls would ever even think of wearing a shirt that says "HARAJUKU LOVERS" in huuge letters. And also those wannabe manga drawings that look like the ones on the back of the nesquick packs. XD Amazingly bad.
And that's not all. the worst thing is that she sells it for RIDICULOUS prizes. She just uses the fact that Japan is getting popular in the West lately and squeezes all the money she can get out of it, and make herself more famous. Her own style isn't anything like the awesome style of the REAL harajuku girls. She has no right to sell it as her own.

Her style isn't bad, not the stuff she sells either, but PLEASE. Writing Harajuku all over it when it has NOTHING TO DO wtih it. It's obviously just to earn money.

This is my opinion. I could have written so much more, but I better stop here. And to the girls here that does not dislike Gwen Stefani...
