i'm new to the forums too. :]
sadly, i live in oklahoma, and we have no stores that sell japanese style clothing.
so i'm extremely glad that i stumbled upon this site.
i'm partially glad we don't have any japanese clothing stores, because i hate how japan is becoming a fad with kids at my school.
i think almost everyone here says "kawaii" in their best japanese accent, like it's spectacular that they know what it means.
but yeah.
i've always been interested in japanese culture and fashion (my sister introduced me to it when she was a bit younger, around mid 20s, she's 31 now).
i'm planning on moving there when i turn twenty-one.

eh. a simpler way of putting it would have been..

haha. i wasn't always.
i wasn't into fashion as a kid.
i was more tomboyish.
i only started liking it after i turned around 11 or 12.
