My names Sitare with a flick on the end of the e type thing. (Sit-aray or Sitaree as most people say it.) I've never met anyone with my name before.
I like my name but I hate how people never can say it right. I'd answer the phone and the person on the other end would like "who may i ask is speaking?" and I'd say "Sitare" and they'd get it totally messed up and end up calling me "tisara" "satara" or some weird formation of my name.
And teachers always call me "Sitair" like that'd be my name... they just have no damned imagination. It used to really piss me off but now I just sort of turn a blind eye whilst everyone else laughs and notifies me of the teachers mistake like I give a damn. I just don't respond to teachers who can't say my name right after I've told them repeatedly the correct pronounciation of my name.
Blah sorry for my long rant.

a lot of people can't read my name right either... i don't know why. it's so easy. kaaay-leeee.
i kind of assumed your name would be pronounced that way before you explained it though. weeeird. sitare... thats a really nice name.

thats a beautiful name :O!
mm the same thing happens with my last name. i dont think anyone has ever pronouced it correctly just by reading it.. often times people accidently call me melissa or madeline or other random m- names by mistake. melinda isnt even that unusual of a name, but i guess i mumble when i introduce myself or something

My name is Jonna. You pronounce it Jonna. ^^
But one of my firend sometimes calls me Joint. And another one calls me Jolt. haha^^
