i drew a picture of a jam jar last week, but it was ugly

^ You don't have to be Asian to wear this T-shirt, the message is a metaphor: I wear Asian clothes(Asiajam) then I'm Asian. If you wear Asiajam's clothes you instantly become Asian even though you have a different nationality. This way you show others your affinity for Asian style.

I get the metaphor, but I'd have people asking me why I'm wearing a shirt that says I'm asian when I'm not, and it would be a hassle to explain it.

I haven't been around in awhile. All this week I've been applying for jobs! I thought I could get a chance to mix work and play by joining this contest. Since I'm trying to find work as a Graphic Designer for the winter, I might as well design something I can use in my portfolio AND share with a cool group of people.

However, I do not want to submit the following design (or any new ones I come up with) unless I can display the finished design in my portfolio and credit to the original design. (Rights to the actual submission will of course become property of Asiajam as they do with any clients in my jobs anyways).

So this one I am showing here is just the sample. I am willing to edit based on people's suggestions, add, subtract, come up with a different one, etc. *If* it's considered good enough to be chosen, then I will feel more comfortable emailing the print-ready file to Asiajam directly, so as to prevent it's release into the wide open Internet unprotected.

To describe this first submission: It's a cute girl with red boots saying "Love". I did not add the actual AsiaJam logo since I don't have a vector version of it and I didn't feel like making one myself until I know if I need to or not. (Oh and obviously my name is just there for the sample image. That's not part of the design!)
